If I had that much money with which to be vindictive, I would. But I don't. In an incredibly weird coincidence, last night I was informed that I may be sent to Sydney next weekend (free).

I spent money on buying a drink I didn't really need because I needed coins. I spent said coins on a new car wash thingy which left my car sparkling and fantastic!
This would only be the 2nd time I've washed my car this year as I don't think I need to due to water restrictions. I'm surprised the dirt caked on wasn't that hard to get off.

MMmm shiny.

Yep. Rationing is a ridiculous approach to managing a resource.

As an aside - hats off to Audi's marketing department. They seem to have cultivated quite the reputation among folks who know nothing about cars.

@Ben: Ahhh.. I should explain. My moronic boss drives an Audi and he gets it "hand washed" at least once a week. He is a man-child who gets paid too much by DADDY who owns the business. That was a reference that only I got.
But, you're right, I know nothing about cars.

Why the fuck doesn't some bastard design a car to have internal components that are actually fucking accessable instead of encasing shit within a welded prison so you can't fucking get at it.

Today I bought The Nanny season 2 for my friend since she loves that show and she's finishing TAFE today and I'm going to see her exhibition tomorrow so I figured since I got her season 1 the other day when it was on special and she was unable to get to the shops due to final preparation, I'd get her season 2 as a present. I hope somebody liked her exhibition today, then she can get employed and get lots of money and buy me things...Or live out her career dream..whatever..

£450, i'm buying half and then my flatmate is buying it off me for 2/3rds the price afterwards, so it'll cost me £75 for a really nice telly for the year.

I love that ad. Sony has great creatives.

Anyway, I'm not going to Sydney any more, so I went on a small spree yesterday. Now I have a new dress ($180- inexpensive), sunglasses shaped like hearts (I'd like to see you say no to those), an amusing clutch purse (it's a tapestry of some weird country with too many consonants in the name!) and more cleanser, moisturiser, exfoliant ($160, ouch).

At least I can clean my skin with France.
