Was it one of those tiny ipods my cousin had at xmas? And since then suddenly everyone has one? You can't even see what song you're playing on those, what's the point?I bought two shirts and a block of chocolate after work today. I didn't bother trying the shirts on though since the line for the change rooms was...a line. So hopefully they'll fit..especially considering that chocolate is there...for looking at. Ahem. Ooh, I also got a packet of those cola bottle lollies. They remind me of when Target used to let you select a whole bunch of different lollies and squish as much as you could into the small cup because you couldn't afford a bigger one. If they still had those I'd be doing that every day after work. Only in the large cup. But then I'd need larger cups....

I don't know the distinctions between ipods by name (expecpt maybe 'the small one' or 'the video one' or 'you there, eating the paste'). All I know is mine only came in silver. Wouldn't have minded a blue one...but it does what I needed it to do, and that was play music while I walk/travel since I don't yet drive so unlike those with the luxury of a stereo system..and air conditioning. Okay, next invention - a portable air conditioner that somehow keeps you cool for when you have have to go outside in high temperatures. I challenge you, technology! Also; there's always too much lettuce in salads.

It's on sale on Amazon.com through a storefront called "wholesaledvds". It looks quite authentic (ie, it's not a DVD-R with a tacky label slapped on), and I'm quite amazed by the price! As for your Nano, get a protective film for it ASAP, they get scratched if you so much as look at them. quote: Originally posted by any1else: Also; there's always too much lettuce in salads.
Amen to that! And in sandwiches too. I go to a Subway and order a sandwich with "everything..." (she reaches for the lettuce) "but the lettuce" (stops, then glares at me like I'm from outer space). If I wanted more lettuce I'd have long whiskers and big droopy ears, dang it!

I got my productivity bonus for 2007 from the workplace today. Since I was in the top 10 percentile, my bonus was rather significant.Since my 4 year old Canon CyberShot 2.0 Megapixal digital camera's flash quit working last year, I went to the local Best Buy to get a replacement camera. After browsing the area, it caught my eye: A Canon PowerShot SD1000. After dealing with the little voice that tells me that I have enough toys and I really should save this money, I hesitated for all of 2 seconds. So I now own this camera, a 2 gig memory stick and still have a little money left over. So I'll use the old camera for outdoor shots when I'm snowmobiling or going to car shows. If it gets damaged or lost, it won't be a big deal. Ah, but the new camera. I shall find things to do with it.

That camera comes up on Google at under $200, so I have to wonder how substantial a bonus y ou really got, if you only have a "little" money left.I'd hate to see what the losers that ranked under you got.

Awesome. I'd suggest leaving it as a tip, but that would only serve to hurt the server, who is probably undeserving of your wrath.

$682.83 after taxes. It was a bonus I wasn't expecting, so it was substantial to me. I guess that I'll put the rest towards Kelly's hospital bill. The ICU visit ALONE cost over 10 grand. quote: I'd hate to see what the losers that ranked under you got.

Hey, I love that iPod! Well, I don't really love it. Not anymore. It's broken because it rained on it. I mean, you'd think an iPod was sturdier than that (not that I am *very* surprised) I hate it! And I haven't got to replace it yet, because of me. I hate me! And I might not get to replace it either, because I treated it irresponsibly or something. I hate Apple! How could I know it couldn't even take an evening of rain? Anyhow, before it broke, I loved it. It's great to use when you run. It's all tiny and cute and you can fasten it on your trousers and wait in anticipation on what song comes next. And because it's only 1gb you only use it for work-out purposes you can fill it with aaaall your upbeat guilty pleasure songs. So if anyone borrowed it and asked, "why is there My Chemical Romance on this!???" I could just say, "ah, you see, it's just my work-out playlist." Of course you can do that with any other mp3 player. I wouldn't get the tiny-iPod if I didn't already have my Creative Zen which sadly is too uncomfortable to run with because if I put it in my pocket it just jumps around threatening to make a hole in my trousers. Anyway, let's move away from The Least Interesting Post About iPod Shuffle, to something perhaps more relevant(?). Yesterday I spent way too much dollars and cents, pounds and pence (not really, kroner and øre more like it) I bought yarn: to make a pair of mitts for airbagfailure and 7 balls of really pretty pink alpaca yarn that I have NO idea what to do with yet... I was thinking a bolero or a short cardigan but I can't seem to find a pattern that I like. I'm sure I'll find one, though. I have a back-up pattern even. (Who cares?) I also got a purple dress from H&M that makes it look like I have a figure. And a grey & green striped sweatshirt. In Rainbows by Radiohead. Dark Side of the Moon by Pink Floyd for cheap. Two Kent albums for cheap. It makes me feel slightly bad in retrospect.

I bought a brand new Fender Robin Trower Signature Model Stratocaster. I plugged it into my amp, and I'm shocked how much better it sounds (as opposed to my 2001 standard Strat). Definitely a 60's psychadelic blues machine. Just played "Bridge of Sighs" on it, and it sounds amazing...

and PS - I wasn't insulting Ralph, people. That is not a bad bonus really. I am surprised you have to pay so much out of pocket for Kelley's hospital stay though. Doesn't your insurance have an amount you have to meet after which everything else is free? I think mine is like $3,000 for the year. I guess I am really lucky.

I was giving the raw total of the bill that was sent to the insurance office. My workplace is a hospital and a HMO. I have the highest eir of insurance I can buy (they are three tiers that costs different amounts and have different benefits). After all is done, the past hospitization will probably cost around $500.00 since we use MD's and equipment from the hospital that the insurance is through. A 24 hour stay in the Medical ICU was billed $10,832.00. I don't to even think what your hospital bill was from a couple of years ago.

It's not uber-professional but will serve my needs quite well. Once I learn how to make movies and u/l them to YouTube, I'll have to get some action footage of the household animals bickering and fighting.

(see above the pretty camera I literally *just* bought)Anyway my point is, you're going to love your Canon. I loved mine for over 4 years now. Easy point & shoot, good quality, etc stuff.

*GRUMBLE* yes. indeed you are right. That is my major gripe with this particular camera - i've to specifically buy a new 2gig xD card just for it. I have a perfectly good 2gig SD card in my Canon but nooooo i can't use that in the new Olympus. Rah.And yes, xD cards are still overpriced.
