So damn true, I've saved a piece to use for all EU book arguments from now on.

Sweet, get a free 5-minute phone call each day (10 mins if you register).
Just need to install a plugin and have Adobe Flash for your browser.

It works and everything, I just tried calling my mobile and it went strait through no problems.  :D
Although I'm told the sound was crummy being transmitted from my PC microphone and there was a slight delay, I could hear my mam in the other room on my mobile through my speakers fine!

It greatly amuses me that somebody thought there was a real life terrorist organisation with a logo of a cartoon sprite doing the finger.

Actor: Wow, portable console mod I might actualy do. Of course, the wii is so tiny already, it's probably gonna be a bit easier than, say, that XBox 360 laptop mod someone posted last year.

Impressive production value. I liked the lip-sync style thing and the computer graphics were very good. Everything else about it sucked.

I think it was made for emos. Half of the rangers didn't seem emo at all. The stoner was just a stoner. Most of them seemed more like metal heads than emos. They kept flashing the metal hand gesture (or were attempting to and ended up saying "I love you" in sign language).

Probably no points here as it was just a quick vid search - incidentally, just noticed that google video search now redirects to youtube. Merger must be complete.

video of the marketing guys doing their thing, plus chaos (I muted this one at the begining myself, your taste may vary, but the "breaking news" bit is priceless.)
Some local bostonians being interviewed about it
War of the Worlds 2: Mooninites.

fake bombs my ass. They were NOT fake bombs, for fuck's sake. Watching them blow the first one up was fun.

I'm searching now for info on an incident in california they mentioned, where they had audio machines which played a recording when you opened a newspaper vending box. How did i never hear about that one, why is THIS one such a huge deal?

Oh, and if anybody hasn't seen it, the marketing people's comments were great. Ends with the smartest reporter in america, with the remark that the whole thing "might look ridiculous from their point of view." Gee, you think?

Hmm...I have a theory.  This is all a massive spin doctoring by FOX News to discredit their rivals at Turner.

That MSNBC announcer was hilarious, though.

Also, Beantowners being idiots.

That flash game Gopher linked to, with the turrets you build to shoot the approaching Creeps? Well. I got to level 39. Score 6812.

Just don't bother making Earth Towers or Air. Make nothing but Fire, Water, and Rockets. And don't overkill. If you're cutting it close, you'll end up with more gold at the end of the round, and more gold = more interest earned.
