I've done it!  My friends said it could not be done, and bet against me in the pool, but I downed 100 cups of coffee in this past weekend's Futurama marathon, and won a cool 54 dollars.  It was harder than I thought it would be, though, but thankfully, due to me not eating anything, and having enough water to keep me from getting dehydrated, it was done.

The downside?  In addition to waking up just recently, after a long downtime, after the marathon, I did to go the hospital to get some treated for heart palpitations.  But in the end, I have successfully completed the Fry Coffee Challenge, despite the possible medical problems and kidney stones I am sure to face in the coming month.

According to my friends, I was tweaking pretty bad, much like Fry was, when he was complaining about his coffee shaking.

I'd like to thank the writers and creators of Futurama for the idea, and the support I've recieved from some members of this community, both on the forums, as well as in the IRC chat.  I just have to wait until my next crazy and suicidal idea... until then... coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee coffee!

Shhouldn't you be dead? I heard 100 cups of coffee is akin to a fatal heart attack.

He probably got like -254$ if you include the hospital charges that resulted.

I think that the madical limit for caffeine is 375 milligrams per kilogram of bodyweight., Basically, you'd die of water poisoning before you died of caffeine overdose. Still, excellant job! I think that has to be the most caffiene I've ever heard of someone consuming. I think that the closest I've come is with several 2-liter bottles of Mountain Dew.

While RCS went the extra step of endangering his health, I'm going to give the blue ribbon to hobojobo, since I can't drink a can of that vile stuff. Ew.

$54? I hope you didn't have to pay for the coffee.

The biggest caffine bender i've been on, would be 9 (~600ml) Lift plus' over the night of a LAN party. It started on saturday at 12pm, I was still yelling at people once it hit 8am Sunday, and didn't sleep until 3am Monday. I remember getting woken up by my alarm at 6am for work, getting up, calling in sick then going to sleep again on the couch, instead of walking the full 10 meters back to my room.
