I'm sticking Mario Party 6 on my Christmas list for this year. And for next year, I'm the same as Otis. I cant wait for a new Monkey Ball, and I'm sure Mario 128 will be great. The only one of that list I wont add is Zelda. I've never played any Zelda game yet. But I'd like to  :)

Apparently there are little rampage-style missions where somebody can pick up the second controller and play. As well as being able to play pool against them.

I'll admit, I sold my soul and have bought SA for the PS2 (my housemate has one, but he's too cheap to buy it himself, so we split the cost). Stupid European release date.

Of note is the fact that all the retailers seem to be sold out of it!

It's not out for another three weeks but I'll tell you:
They've completely replaced everything with fighting chipmonks, and it's now a 3rd person, text based strategy dance game with vampires and horny sailor robots.

It can be two things!

Instead of typing "go forward 10 paces", you type, "go 10 paces on the x-axis, 5 paces on the y axis and 2 paces on the z-axis.... and kill futuramafreak for being a twat"   :p

It's not. I've read a review or two, and they definately talk about a two player feature. Like CK said, it's pretty much for mini-missions and stuff.

No online support, though.

For a person like me, I don't buy many video games.  The only game on my Christmas list right now is Paper Mario 2, for I've reserved Halo 2 and I'm buying my DS games when I pick it up.  Maybe Voodoo Vince...

[edit] Oh and of course if we weren't counting just games, but accessories too, I want an Xbox Live-Compatible switch and the Logitech Cordless Action Contoller for PS2.

Crap. All these awesome games and systems are sneaking up on me. The DS, Metroid Prime 2, and Mario Tennis all come out next month. There's no way I can afford all this crap.  :(

Maybe I can convince someone to get me Metroid and/or Mario Tennis for christmas, or something.

Luckily it seems that the PC version's been brought forward to May or something like that in Q2, which is much better than what it was. Hey, me and Meri made a two player game out of VC. We'd take it in turns to do missions.

Oh incidentally, anyone who's a fan of the Jedi Knight series should be aware that a new Dark Forces Mod demo for Jedi Academy is out. Looks fantastic  :)

Half-Life 2 and Rome : Total War are both high on my list, just below the upgrades I need to be able to actually play them  :(

On my GC, I'll definitely get PoP 2 and Paper Mario 2, it's a bitch that Mario Tennis isn't coming out in Europe until after Christmas though (I think).

Well, the MG series has toppled a bit and has a few new rivals to compete with now.

Saw my first player Ithorian yesterday in SWG (You can see and speak to users of JTL and buy the items and sell things to JTL but you cannont go into space) and tipped him 1k. Waiting for the first player Sullustian too.

I think MGS2 kind of made people a little more skeptical about the next sequel. It was still a fantastic game, but the overabundance of cutscenes (and especially Codec sequences) was it's downfall, I feel.

Man, those lucky gits who have the Sorusub Lady Luck Ships. I bet in the future they will tour people around the galaxy in them and rub there noses in the fact they have an awesome Cruiser and most of us will have 2nd hand TIE Fighters and Z-95 Headhunters.

They can't be destroyed as well, so these guys can go anywhere! They can plonk down in the PVP Sector and watch Faction's tear each other apart for there own leisure.

Also, The Falcon is only for Neutal non factional players. Dammit, I knew I should have stayed Neutral.

San Andreas seems to be pretty standard in terms of GTA chaos and rampaging.  They've upped the violence factor slightly, and I'm finding the new city to be harder to navigate than, say, Vice or Liberty City what with the limited access highways, railroads, and drainage ditches.  Police bikes also make getaways more difficult since they can shoot submachine guns at you on the fly.  The new "food" factor as well as skill levels that increase with experience are pretty enticing as well.  As is the fact that C.J, unlike his predecessors, can swim.

Still, there's a lot of damage for me and C.J. to do.

The worst thing I could find about SA in the hour or so I played was the colouring... what tastes like orange?

And the sub-par graphics etc, but that isn't why you play GTA games.

I liked the pedal bike, though it took a bit of getting used to. I actually failed the first mission where you follow the gang members.

And I can't use the D-pad to move anymore!

Its almost too much to handle at once. I know my way around the block, but now Ive got 4 different mission guys on at once its just so hard to get around. Its a great game.

Ive been playing for about 2 hours and I still dont really have my bearings. I know where I am if I'm within a burb of Ganton.
