Umeboshi.  Those preserved plums from Japan.  They have them in China too.  They were bad.

Some kind of fruit that's orange and you taste it and it absorbs all the water in your mouth.  It also tastes like the kind of solid soap that's shaped like shells.

... and its a FRUIT.
We got it for Fruit Night at our dorms... I was spitting it out and scrubbing my tongue with my claws.

I rather enjoy Spinach. Okra, though, that's nasty crap. And cabbage prepared any way except boiling.

Water. Ordinary tap water. About 2 glasses of it and I feel ready to vomit.

Before I post this, I'd like to say that you're talking to the girl who eats Peanut Butter and Applesause with Salami and Chicken Breast. I'll eat nearly anything and keep it down, even if I don't like it, but Vanilla Milkshakes make me spew. They just have that horrible sweet-sugar-rainbow taste that makes me sick to my stomach.

Smoked oasters are fairly repulsive. Seriously, the tast like something a spoiled cat would barf up. Also I've had some pretty bad experiences with raw mushrooms (yeah garden variety mushrooms, not "shrooms" ).

Purely for the purpose of freaking out a co-worker a few months ago, I made a milkshake with vanilla ice cream and a hot dog. All the fat congealed into little revolting lumps. I drank several ounces too, for the benefit of the guy I was working with. But my stomach is cast-iron, once something's down it stays down. Neither rollercoaster nor illness nor indigestibility will make it come back up.

Liver.  It's the only food my mom hates so much that she only made me try one bite.  Good thing it was an all-you-can-eat buffet and we were able to stash it under a few plates and get some good food.

For those of you who have never tried liver, it can best be described as Salsbury steak with a hint of vomit and a distinct aftertaste of earwax.

Pfft. A kid bet me I couldn't eat 5 in a row without dying from sugar shock. Sure proved him wrong. But after I got my prize (Two giant pixy sticks), I went into a sugar shock.

For some reason, whenever I eat cherries AND bananas, I get ill.  don't understand it. I ate them once together as a snack and later became sick. A few weeks later, I did again, and only after I got sick the second time I remember the first time.
Fish grosses me out. I can only stand canned tuna and grilled salmon. Everything else is just icky.

I think the nastiest think I've tasted was some cream soda I had in Kimberley, I thought when I picked it up that it was a clear liquid in a green bottle, but no it was a vivid green liquid in a clear bottle, when I came out of the shop a local child asked if I'd let her have the empty bottle for the deposit, one sip of it and I gave her the drink too, I've never tasted anything so sweet and sickly; no idea if she actually drank it though.

Fish and hamburgers.

I can't stand fish, and neither can my mom or sister. I don't know what it is, but We/I can't stand it.

And beef makes me puke. I don't like most meats, but beef just.... ugh.

But then I see fear factor and forget about it. x_x

I had this vegetable strudle once which was positively rancid.  It came highly recommended.  I've never had it since.  Funny that.

Plus one time, I had flu, and someone gave me brandy & cloves.  It took my mind off the flu, I couldn't stop vomiting.

I'll have to say miso soup.

Tried it once at a restaurant... you know that taste when you accidentally swallow some seawater?  It was like that, with perhaps a bit more tofu.  Yet, my friends all liked it…

Once I had the misfortune to eat a fish dish that was prepared by a cooking neophyte. The left the skin on. Which wouldn't have been bad if the fish hadn't been placed skin-side down in rice and cream sauce, allowing the fish slime to boil and permeate the entire dish with this really strong fish slime taste. I didn't hurl, but I picked at it and eventually managed to slip the food into a garbage can when she wasn't looking.

I found out later that she had no idea there was something wrong with it, she enjoyed the pervasive fishiness. Blech. You can grill or pan-fry some fish with the skin on, but bake it into casserole? NO.

And I hear ya loud and clear on the mayo, Banky.

A few summers ago I was vacationing and had some raw oysters...usually I like 'em, but they just were nasty as hell that year. I didn't get sick, but it put me off them for a long time.
