Why don't you tell each other what you'll be wearing? Something disctinctive, like a cowboy hat, maybe.

VF, distributing that cell phone list would be a good idea in my opinion.

You should recognize me. I look like a white metropolitan version of Che Guevara complete with beret and beard.

And I'll wear a big-ass name tag that says "Hello my name is Nasty Pasty" on it.

Either that or I'll wear a red plastic fire helmet. That'll get your attention.

*17 fires break out around New York the day of the PEELathon, and Nasty gets pulled into service*

Damnit, I wish I had money so I could fly down and meet some PEELers. Any chance of there ever being another PEELathon? Curse this isolated island, with its rural charm, accents that are a cross between English and Pirate, and beautiful women.

Meh, if we all get bored enough, possibly.

I have a feeling if this one goes good there will be some form or another of a PEELathon.

Um, winna, November is in the Fall.  Last year, it was in October.  PEELathons are always fall affairs.

Since this will be the second annual PEELathon, there's a chance we'll do it again in 2005. Unless we've all abandoned PEEL by then, or gotten fat and ugly.

I'm a highlander. No chance of that.

Looks like my chances of going are getting slimmer by the day... but I WILL be in New York that night if there's no band practice (yeah... our band kinda sorta got back together), so at the very least  we can coincidentally meet (<--stalker) and say howdy.

Didn't we once plan to have a PEELathon in February or March this year?  I could have sworn there was talk about making the PEELathon a biannual affair.

Well, I was directed here by TMC and indirectly by VF...  When is the latest you need to know by as far as who is going and who isn't?  I think I'd like to go, but haven't quite decided yet.

I'd certainly like that.  One around March/April next year would be cool.  My personal and financial situation is changing enough for me to be able to do this.

You can all party at my house over Easter 2005. It's also going to be for my birthday though, so bring presents.

And once you get cool enough (sorry evan) you get invited to come party at Busch Gardens with me in the summer.

Hey, I'd go for a PEELathon spring break style.  April in Clearwater Beach (St. Pete area), anyone?

Psh, no. Any location other than NYC would have to be Atlantic City, to honor Dr.T's avatar... and for plenty of gambling with old people.

Of course, going to the shore might result in PEELers in swimsuits, which could result in disaster...

So what be the plan?
Other than the initial hookup at the WTC PATH station?
Heading from there to Chinatown sounds good,
I haven't been down by there in years. I don't really wanna wander Manhattan aimlessly. Probably the best bet
would be to find food first, then figure out a plan of action.
I'm all tapped on suggestions owing to the fact that I'm a lazy old bastich.

Skusting's plan seems good. On saturday after me, whoop, and JBERGES meet up with the rest at the WTC PATH station, we'll find a nice charming corner cafe and make our itinerary.

Cap'n, where in Manhattan do you live?

What about hitting up South Steet Seaport?  And there's always the village, my stomping ground  :D The Washington Sq. Park area has St. Marks St, which has all sorts of fun vendors and stores to duck into if you get cold.  (Plus a great comic book store.)  And if you're going to be around Chinatown, might as well check out the 2 streets left of Little Italy for good dessert.  Though, I don't know exactly what kind of things you're looking to do, just some suggestions.

Hey eggs, slimmy, anyone else. Still interested in meeting in Brussels (or Antwerp or Ghent) on Monday Nov. 22nd?

I have no idea what to do. First of all, we need to agree on a location. Ghent would be easiest for me, Antwerp for Slimmy and Brussels for Eggs. But, knowing that Eggs will probably see Brussels for the rest of the week or longer, I'd say Antwerp or Ghent.

Both cities are worth seeing, with lots of medieval remnants, gothic cathedrals, picturesque town squares, nice cafés, and so on.
