I listen to BBC Radio 2, and Classic FM.

What radio station do you listen to?

If this has been done before, then point me in the right direction.

I don't listen to the radio, unless a new song I already know in advance about which I really want to hear premieres...

Perhaps this applies?

Also I listen to one of my local radio stations that people outside of manchester will probably have never heard of.

I listen to Clear Channel stations if I have nothing better to do.

Mmm, depends, I like to listen to the Radio while driving.  Although I'd heard from a friend that it's marginally less stressful to listen to a talkie station than a music station, while driving.

Otherwise....

Depends on the time of day:

Morning: Chris Moyles (Radio 1)
Afternoon: Steve Wright (Radio 2)
Sometimes: Local Radio (Minster or Viking FM)
Sometimes: BBC Radio Five-Live (especially during the weekend, when the footy is on).

DAB Digital Radio is pretty good (anyone who's caught SixMusic or BBC7 would know what I mean), also Xfm is pretty good (when I've heard it).

I dont listen to the radio at home at all. I only tend to listen to it if I'm in the car. Not that theres anything good on anyway. But its better than nothing I guess. Its just the local radio staion for a part of the North West. 97.4 Rock FM. It doesn't play any rock  ;)

:laff: Hilarious!  Is it so called because the station is built on a piece of rock?

Goatslayer and others... on the intermaweb. Internet radio stations can be really brilliant. They showed me good stuff such as Mushroomhead, Dillinger Escape Plan, Bobby Darin, etc...

I think they just like to think that they "rock", if you know what I mean   ;)
Inflated egos and whatever.

They play chart music mostly and crappy dance music, the Ibiza shite. I dont even know why I listen to it. Mostly I take CD's in the car with me, but I listen to the radio every so often for a change. But always end up turning it off anyway because its so poor   ;)

I don't listen to radio much, but when I was going to college, I usually listened to Lyric FM (silly name, since it's all classical music, which has very little lyrics altogether)
That or the funny guys on Strawberry Alarm Clock on FM104.
I think there's a new station around now, I heard it while in line for a chicken roll, might look for it next time.

I don't normally listen to the radio, but sometimes i listen to LBC 97.3 FM. Normally it's the late-night slot.

My clock radio's reception is shite.  Right now I listen to some Irish station in the morning because it's practically the only one I can recieve.

Back before we got Sky, I used Radio 5 to listen to the football matches on Saturdays.

Good times...  :)

http://launch.yahoo.com  does a better job than radio stations since it's so personalised, otherwise mp3s or CDs and occasionally Virgin or XFM

Public Radio in Detroit. I don't know what their website is. They play lots of parody songs and have plenty of guest singers. Everything they play is good.

Yarr, good enough.

I listen to:
Sports Radio 610 WIP
KYW News Radio 1060
94.5 WYSP (Only when the Eagles [the football team, not the bad] are playing)

Listening to the radio for music is like playing russian roulette with a magazine-fed pistol.
