Every president, however awful is allowed one good idea.  His father gets credit for the Americans With Disabilities act and Dubby can have the space missions.

I wonder how how many engineers have already volunteered for being in the crews.  Some time ago I made it a goal to become a famous astronaut as a big fuck you to my former university.  (Purdue is famous for coughing up astronauts and did a pretty good job of making me want to leave.)  :p

Did Clinton know this?  Maybe he would have had one if he had known that he was allowed.

www.tvdads.com

An entire site dedicated to cataloging TV shows about single dads.  Was MST3K right about all the widowers in the 1960s?  Exactly how many shows in the 1980s had multiple dads living together?  Read and find out!  I learned that the three sons on Bonanza all had different mothers, all of whom died! (By a hideous coincidence, the guy who runs the site is himself a divorced single dad whose ex-wife was murdered.)

Sweet manatee of Galilee, these teachers are idiots!

Once you've read that, cruise on over to hear the whole story as presented by the kid himself.

Apologies if this was already brought to your attention via Slashdot.

That kid is gonna so out-succeed the idiots running his school that it won't even be funny.  I can't believe the principal could be that stupid, but "hey".

I can hardly wait to see this kid become a brillian nerd and wipe out the principal's credit records.

Ever since I was taken in by Lesbianstudies, I've been very suspicious of spoof sites.

But I have a sneaking suspicion that the morons who paid to have this posted are serious.

Send them back!

Gotta be a spoof. I mean how can you snail mail a bunch of MP3s? And Attaching them by e-mail will only send them a copy of what you have. And the cheesy pictures at the top. Funny though.

The important thing about every example is that the RIAA ends up with your personal information.  They don't want your mp3s back, they want to know who's been "stealing" music so that they can watch your future behavior.

Actually, I've almost suspended for the same thing, although mine was slightly more advanced. My school uses Windows NT (still), and the incompetent IT department hadn't disabled NETSEND. Because the vast majority of my school was computer illiterate, they didn't know how to access the command. I therefore put together a VB programme which would allow you to netsend to not only the entire network, but specific terminals, rooms, students and teachers. I then emailed it to my whole year, who emailed it on to their friends, etc, etc.

The next day was complete and utter chaos, and the system slowed to a complete crawl during lunch when nearly every single user was trying to netsend each other. I thought I'd got away with it, but I'd overlooked the fact all emails get logged, and I'd sent it from my personal domain name   :(.

Sadly, they disabled the utility shortly afterwards...

Just going off on a tangent, but the NETSEND utility itself IS NOT a great tool to send dodgy messages by, because it will display with the message your terminal ID.

And keeping in with the spirit of the thread, German Man arrested for stuffing potatoes into his computer.

Your little computer insident could be interpreted as far more malicious that what the other kid did.  You sent out a tool for spamming out the network.  He just sent a single message (unfortunately too all terminals on his network).

The german guy sounds like he's got a "Spuds" Mackenzie fixation (that was a really bad pun ::shoots self: :)
