A while back in the fan art thread we were told that if it wasn't Futurama then it did not belong in that part of te forum. As such I figured why not make a art thread here for all non Futurama art (or what could be art or not). Basically a chance for those budding artists (or those like myself who just like top doddle) to show there stuff. I thought this deserved it's own thread since I figured the other picture thread was for comedy photomanipulations and such and not art works. Anyway I guess I should get the ball rolling. A pic I did a while back but refcently recoloured. Better full view http://www.deviantart.com/view/4044820/ And a personal fave

Yeah, I do realize they don't make a clock, but I only realized after. I’ll explain the basic story. We start with a broken clock on the floor, which symbolizes time being killed. Then in the next panel we pan back, and see a silhouette of a boy on a hilltop, and a gun pointing towards a clock on the tree (clock tree inspired by Dali). Also, it's not very clear, but the broken clock from the first panel is on the floor in the second panel, if you look closely... In the third panel we get to see what the boy actually looks like, and he's framed by the tree branches to make him stand out. He's looking at a horse riding by in the distance, and just like the boy is introduced with a silhouette, so is the horse and rider. In the fourth panel he reaches for his gun, in an abstract kinda way, and in the fifth panel he practices his aim. In the sixth panel we see what he see's through the gun, but then suddenly the trigger accidentally goes off, and in the seventh panel we see a CRACK! across the land... In the eighth panel we see the boys horrified reaction to this, he just can't believe what he's done. We identify with him through his expression. In the ninth panel we get to see the consequences of just what has actually happened. And in the final panel the boy hangs his head in shame. He has put his gun down, and it's pointing towards the broken clock from the first panel, because he has killed time (the life of the horse rider) And throughout the story, we're constantly being reminded of time, via the clocks on the tree. That's what it all means and symbolizes anyway
