Can i suggest we leave making avys for a bit as there's a whole thread of avatars for uploading at the moment!

I think it would be easier for those with (multiple) avatars waiting to be uploaded to zip them all as one file, instead of trawling through old threads.

I suppose, but you could at least gather them all up as properly named zipped images then, that would surely help? One file to download, no renaming and then just uploading.

The new avy is class, Faze, but I agree that the old one is one of the best avys around.  Keep it in mind.

I'm sorry for not doing my "job" as frequently as you would like, school's been keeping me busy.  If you all zipped your avatars that would be greatly appreciated and very easy on me and it would make for a speedier upload.  Though I can't expect that from all of you as you may not know exactly how to do it.  The easiest tip I can give you is mainly for Win2K/XP users.

1. Right click in a folder.
2. Select New > Compressed (Zipped) Folder.
3. Drag all avatars into the new folder.

If it gets to be too hectic I'll talk to Marc about adding an access account for uploading avatars.  Aslate probably.

Hmm, I can try to zip file it yet I am not very good with that. Is it alright if I don't? The best I can do is put all my avatars to be added up on one/ several posts, if this helps and should be done.

Go to Winzip.com and download winzip. Then open winzip, drag all your images into it and select the "Maximum COmpression" (Not necessary, and if you download 9 Beta i wouldn't use the "Enhanced Deflate" as older versions don't like it). Then just upload the zip to a site and link it.

If you can't do that, try making a simple webpage with all your avatars on and linking to it.

I'm not dead!

The validation proxy for my primary internet connection decided to snub PEEL and refuse me access, so I've basically been unable to post for more than a month.

But as luck would have it I've now been given a secondary, less restricted (and snappier), connection.

Also, here's a little avatar. I promise I'll post something better soon. There's still a little graduate degree that I'm working on, though, so don't expect too much.  :)
