We were shown a chemistry video, it had that song on and was from the early 90s. I then went and found the song on Kazaa and even had it on my MP3 player for a short period. It is actually in the middle/end of a stand-up comedy piece.

That song is standard material at the Department of Chemistry where I study. Incidentally I had to know the entire periodic table of elements by heart for my exam in descriptive inorganic chemistry (sounds fun, no?).
