Eddie Money's 'Take Me Home Tonight' was always a good song when coming home during a sun set or at night with a passenger.

I hate all songs, only orchestrated music is good. Especially movie soundtracks.

"Fallen" is their debut, right? So it's hard to say they have the best song ever. Originally posted by futureman: Joe Budden - Pump it up is a pretty dam good song just thought i might tell you Ha ha, you're kidding, right? Originally posted by fry2006: But answer this - how can you wake someone up inside? Do you cram an alarm clock in your body and let it ring? Or is it something really damn crazy to do? (Or is it a metaphor?) Actually listen to the song and maybe you'l figure out. All of Evanescence's songs have great meaningful lyrics, pay attention to 'm. Ok, now that I'm done replying to quotes, I have to say I don't think there is such thing as 'the best song ever'. Too many good ones and people have too many opinions. If I had to pick my personal 'best song ever' I'd have a tough time cause I don't know much about music anywhere past 1994.

hmm best ever thats a tuff call. Id say Blue Oyster Cult "Dont Fear the Reaper" was the best ever; close 2nd would be Tom Petty "Free Falling".

It is a bit cliche, but it is still a great song. My vote is for "American Pie" by Don McClean. Now that was his best song ("Vincent"? What the hell is that?).

Billie Jean, or Beat It by Michael Jackson.
Song 2 by Blur and Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana are right up there too.

I have no idea... a) what half these songs mentioned are b) and that trivial matter of what I think is the best song ever... I have an idea, that probably it's by Queen. But to coincide with the "...Who???" theme (if you have the same knowledge - or lack of - of mainstream music as me) then I would say one of the best songs I've heard is Passion by 1 Gaint Leap - a fast rushing song full of African singing and the end is great how adults singing in a choir slowly fades into children singing in a playground. Most of the 1 Giant Leap album is fantastic music. Apart from that, most of the songs I hold very dear are mostly classical or soundtrack.

I love a lot of songs and it is unfair to choose one as the best of all time. So here I go... It's one that nobody will have heard of: Lene Marlin, Unforgivable Sinner. I can never get tired of a song like that. I wish that I had lots and lots of votes then I could also put in Queen and Evanescance and stuff.
