I've been waiting for this thread. I even considered making one myself, until I realized that I wasn't talented enough to find the dreaded "Rude Ralph".
Rude Ralph was a childhood toy of mine. Circa 1985. It was a big disgusting-looking ball-shaped greenish-brownish head. You pull a string, and it makes a crude noise(or possibly said a crude phrase...I can't remember if it actually talked or not). Farts, burps, you name it.
This isn't some super-obscure toy that I bought at a dollar store, either. I remember it being fairly popular. I know at least three other families that had one besides mine. And yet, google turns up nothing. Yesterdayland turned up nothing. Maybe I'm spelling it wrong? It's possible it had a wacky spelling, like "Rood Ralf" or something. But even trying my best alternate spellings, I can't find a damn thing.
If you can find any website, picture, or reference to this toy, I would be eternally grateful. And also in love.

http://www.september11news.com/Sept11History.htm Here 's something useful. The date 11 September throughout history. Scroll down: Despite Arab protests, a British mandate is proclaimed in Palestine on September 11, 1922. The mandate came into effect at the end of September 1922. Is this what you are looking for?
