The Great Offtopic Crash of 02.
PEEL was in a time of trial. The Offtopic domain was particularly in trouble. A madness had fallen over the people, and chaos reigned. People cared not whether their posts had meaningful or valuable content. Posts were made for the sake of making posts. One holdover from this time is the foul "Go banana!" post. The volume of posts made and the size of the threads caused the offtopic realm to crash, so that nobody was able to post at all. Finally the great and benificent [-Marc-] repaired the damage, but the history, all the old threads of Offtopic had been lost. A fresh start was required, and stricter laws were enacted regarding spam.

SO QUIT SPAMMING.

It seems we need some interlectually stimulating mathematical problems to get away from birds shitting on faces. Nimkip, avert your eyes now... go to rotten.com for 5 minutes or something. Also can it be a banning offence to post rotten.com pictures here, and any more goatse ascii art.   :p

I have given you a sheet of paper 0.0045" thick. Hypothetically, how many folds would it take before the thickness reached the sun? (my calculations are not perfect, but they are pretty accurate)

EDITED: Changed from moon to sun since I don't know how far the moon is away, plus I think this is more impressive.
