* using nothing but my bare hands, a MS-DOS text editor and 1's and o's (because back then we didn't have 0's), dagnabit!

Just like my poll on the Old Off-Topic board. How did you find/learn about PEEL?

I found it using Google, plain and simple. In fact it was the first Futurama site I found.

I really can't remember, which is very bad. I'm sure it had something to do with me talking with Paul and Jamie from FSAC about something similar, or something...

I don't remember how I found this place, it seems like years ago I used to live at the Futurama outlet board for a while before moving here, all I remeber is people saying "bah another troll from that inbred outlet board that won't last a week" so I stayed just to piss them off and where are all those people now? all dead hahaha

I think it was from cgef, or another Futurama site, (you know, the one with the insanely small print, and it has lots of black and dark green on it).

It could also be that I went to the chatroom via that site, and they told me about peel.
I tried to join this board a couple of times, but failed. Then I mailed mArc and the problem was solved.

How? Thanks to HDC, he left a link on the sipsons.futurama.ru board.

Someone in the chatroom kept talking about it. I had a look and didn't like it. Then I enslaved it.

I was searching google for Futurama websites and I came across CGEF and found PEEL from there. So I guess, I'll vote for 'search engine' since I'd probabaly never have found PEEL if it weren't for google  :)

Through the New! CGEF. I first heard about this site almost a year ago, when the buzz first started about Futurama being cancelled. I stopped by, lurked somewhat, and sort of got the lay-out of the place. Then, I promptly forgot about it.

I offically made my debut after a few months of lurking in September of this year.

I'll also be honest. I wasn't that huge of a Futurama fan until I stumbled upon PEEL (and when I heard it was cancelled.) Like most people, I had a hard time getting into the show because of the constant pre-emptions and shitty timeslot. It's hard to become fanatical when the show's hardly on. But, now, I'm a die-hard Futurama-ian (-iac, -head? what do we call ourselves?)

I'm not sure how I found this place. I was thinking that maybe I found it through CGEF, but it was closed when I joined and opened again shortly after. It's in my brain somewhere, but I can't find it, useless brain...

Planet Express.dk?

How could I forget to include the chat room? Probably because I've never been there.  :p

I leapt straight in and posted, didn't read any threads and just posted my first post in the old Quotes thread (which some bugger deleted!).

Got on Google looking for a Futurama episode guide.  CGEF came up.  Ended up hitting the PEEL link at some point.  Lurked for a little while and figured I might as well sign up.

I believe it was through CGEF back in May '02.

How did I find PEEL? Uhmm ... that's long ago... I think I first saw the link at FSAC and thought "what the ... is that???"  :D
Then I visited the site for months without posting and ... uh ... I think it was October 2002 when I met Aleel and then Tweek and Holly. And they told me about the "great family" PEEL and since this day I'm here ...  :)
Great story, uh ? ...  :D

I found PEEL through the late, great Futurama Outlet.  The Outlet was the first Futurama site I found.  Way back in 1999.  The original TLZ and CGEF were other sites I found through them.
