I won't waste precious bandwidth posting a picture of my desktop, but I will bore you with details.  The wallpaper is just a picture of a silver Cadillac XLR, and it is covered with various PDF documents, movie files, and links to important programs...well, Winamp, Project 64, and Internet Explorer.

I was just too lazy to minimize my browser before taking the screenshot.

Aw, that's so cool (that goes to Alex as well!) and I'm happy it pleases you :) I never thought the picture would make someone's desktop! Have you guessed what the lyrics are behind Fry & Leela yet?   ;)

@Sarge: Awesome wallpaper! I was reading the other day that Fox got a lot of complaints about Banzai, I think the reason was "it forces stereotypes on the American-Asian community". Cool wallpaper anyhoo!

Yeah, I knew there'd be a "we're offended" group popping up out of nowhere to complain. There always is. Who cares.  :laff: Stereotyping is an artform in visuals & literature. Can't pull the plug on the Arts.

Better yet: switch your background to Active Desktop mode, and make it point to Banzai's official site!

I have this picture as my wallpaper:

Except I've cut Mia Farrow off. (I couldn't be bothered to get a picture of my desktop and post it.)

The main problem I used to have with Style XP is that I wiped the drive so often as to make it useless (although this install so far is pretty old). Plus eventually I got tired of the new scheme and went back to one of the predefined ones anyway. I can't stand the "Classic" style which comes with XP, though. I don't know if any of you will know what I mean, but it just "feels" like a skin stuck on top of the existing shell, rather than a shell in and of itself.

Anyway, my desktop (and believe it or not, this is how it always looks - I can't stand cluttered desktops  ;)):

That reminds me.  I have a wallpaper somewhere of Jordan draped over a Jordan F1 car.  (geddit?  They're both called Jordan!  Geddit?)

I also have a picture of Leela draped over a McLaren, but that's a different story...

Nice and minimal, to both Marg and Barney.

Well since Juliet already did so, I'll post one of my OS skin.

@ Just Chris and wu_konguk: I see you both have Kazaa or Kazaa Lite... what would you be needing them for  ;)

My desktop is a Tailsman thingo which I modified from their basic shell. My background is the Leela thing I did, which I'll upload somewhere sometime to show you guys. The only bit of artwork I've ever done...

Speaking of which, the main purpose of showing my desktop was to try to get some comments on what was in (on?) my browsers.

I was bored, okay.

I've managed to get about 100 icons on my desktop... I usually dump everything there until it gets full and then make a folder and dump everything in there.

Eg. 'Crap - 25.07.03'

Not very efficient I must say.

My SuSE desktop.

If the image doesn't show copy and paste the address into your address bar:
 http://www.webspawner.com/users/hgdmjtd/instatánea2.jpg
And if it is still not showing it's because a need I netfirms account not a webspawner one.

That will happen occasionally when a thread fails to load completely, usually due to a timeout of some sort.

Again i have to give props to Nef.  There are not a whole lot of talisman themes out there, but the ones that i found were nothing but kick ass.
Talisman with some MAC flavor
