Quite true. If we didn't, we'd just be stupid! As for Zapp/Kif relationship... I'd like to see something that makes them actually cooperate more. If the movie does that, it'll be weird, but of course things'll be set right by the end.

I really hope the next movie doesn't draw Leela/Fry out any further.  BBS was just too much.  Get them together and show us how their relationship works with them as a couple.  Don't make Leela any more cold hearted.  My opinion of course...

Methinks Fry will be seeing other women more now. Though I still hope he isn't dating that girl after the whole "five boyfriends" revelation. That's just... yeuch.

But yeah, it looks like he's moving on a bit. Ralph might say he's grown a pair.

We can't have anti-shipper threads I'd be very sad. She probabyl will turn to stone at some point.

I think the closest that Leela ever came to enacting jealousy over one of Fry's girlfriends was when he was dating the Lucy Liu Bot ("Fry's made his decision...and no we've got to talk him out of it" ). Other than that, she's never displayed any noticable feelings one way or the other about anyone Fry was dating (even Amy).

I think that's the whole thing about falling in love - sometimes you have no idea why you're in love with someone. I think it's this notion that drives a lot of television romances.

These days I'm sort of in the middle. She has her good sides and her bad sides, and recently her bad sides have outweighed her good sides a fair bit, though I'm sure her good sides will shine through again one day soon.

It drives quite a number of real romances as well.

Agreed. Hey, you gotta take the good with the bad, even if the bad can be caustic. Her loyalty is a very redeeming quality (even if it doesn't translate to reciprocated love), and in the end it shines through all the other stuff (at least to me).

You gotta admit, though, with the revelation that Fry was Lars (aka "the only man I'll ever love" ), she's running out of excuses to not take a chance. Maybe once the upset of being jilted (and everything that came after) passes...

Yeah, that's kind of the problem. She strikes me as incredibly possessive... she acts like they're just friends but when Fry starts looking toward other women she goes nuts. Or at least grumbly. It'll be interesting to see how they act in the new film.

Bet you she'll be trying to break them up. Of course she'd be justified, but will she be doing it for Fry's benefit or hers?

And no, I've not had my skin stolen by ralph...

Yeah; about her trying to break them up, I said something to that effect a while ago, that even if she did exhibit jealousy she would couch it more in terms of being "concerned" about him or thinking that he wasn't acting like himself.

It could be interpreted like that. In fact, the first couple of times I saw that episode that was how I was inclined to view it. However, the line about only feeling all right in her dreams, with him, made me kinda rethink it.
Also, you don't really want someone's corpse under your bed, unless you really have some other issues with their death, other than just mild guilt.
