its not so much the character, but that sound bender makes when hes the robot santa and hes getting executed and he sings sort of, thats scary

I actually think Bender can look pretty scary at times, though I know he is mostly "the lovable rogue." When he does really malevolent stuff, though, he seems pretty sinister. His face is, essentially, a skull with glowing golden eyes (and sometimes red when his mind is being controlled by IObey). In the right (wrong) circumstances he could look like a scary being in the Futurama universe.
