I did a seach for this, and I found a thread, but not a Poll. Anyway, who's your fave character voice in Futurama? I included all the main characters, the whole P.E crew. And I added Roberto in, because he's my fave... and I had one space left. Even though I love Roberto's voice, Professor Farnsworth is a very close second, the way he says things is so awesome!  :cool:

I love Zoidy's accent, and the professor does have his moments.  Roberto doesn't say much so I said Leela because Katey's range is so wonderful.  Love her voice.  There isn't a better person for leela's voice.

My fave voice has gotta be the Professor's. He's so awesome and funny and the way he says some things are class. Definately the Prof, but very shortly followed by Roberto. He's so unique and funny. Its a pity he doesn't show up in more eps  :)

i love the little nuances of katey's voice. Just wonderful! And so distinctive. Even my cats recognize her voice. it confuses Anica to no end cause Katey always looks so different in every role that she does. She watches Futurama, married with children, and 8 simple rules with me and its always katey's character that she watches.

I'd say Leela's. IMHO, 'The Sting' was probably Katey Segal's greatest perf in Futurama. It really got through !

Katey's Leela-voice is wonderful, and I agree, her work in "The Sting" was wonderful. Particular that line, "It got through, Fry. It got through". And her singing is great, the best singer of the entire group. But I have to say Leela crying irritates me to no end. It's forced and unbelievable. Hence why Zoidy get my vote in this poll.

I think Kif's voice is great as well, Maurice Lamarche did a wonderful job. Basically Spock as he should've sounded. Completely frustrated and exasperated, and a slight hint of Jon Lowitz.

i can do zapp's voice really well but when i do it at school everyone just looks at me weird.

i admit its a mood killer. But i wonder if its her fault. i know she can cry, i've seen her do it in several movies. But they probably don't want her to actually cry cause real tears aren't funny. but she can do it. In 'Trail of Tears' she plays a mom whose kids are kidnapped and she cries a few times.

Yeah, it's probably part of the script or something. Otherwise they would've made another take in the recording session. I noticed her parents in "Leela's Homeworld" both have the same forced crying, I guess it's a genetic thing.

But it still pull down Leela's overall voice ever so slightly.

Gotta go with Farnsworth -- my fave from the beginning. I can do a pretty good impression of it, too, but I don't have a mic for my computer, so I can't back it up.

Got to go with Fry, but any voice done by Billy West is amazing!! I love the way that the voice can change for any scene, like at the end of the globe trotters episode, the voice just convayed all of the emotion across perfectly.

I love Fry's voice - he sounds like Billy West himself, and Billy has to be one of the most talented guys living.
Bender coming a close second, but John DiMaggio has to be as funny as Billy West.

Hmm, this is tough.  Everyone on the show does a good job with the voices, but who's voice, in and of itself, is my favourite?  So that's why I'm voting for Nibbler.  It's 50% a Lilo & Stitch thing (I just love a chattering character), the rest I just love a chattering character with a booming voice.

Fry's voice is easily the best in my opinion, but it took quite a few episodes to fully develop.

Has anyone here played "The Curse of Monkey Island?"

The guy who does the voice of Mr. Fossey sounds just like Kif.
I don't think it's the same voice actor though, but I could be wrong.

Oh, and the voice I like most is Futurama's very own Kirk, Captain Zapp Brannigan.

It's a close call between Branniganah and Bender. John DiMaggio's voice rules, and extra points for braking out a beat in "Luck of the Fryrish".

Bender gets it in the end. Plus he's got this crazy thing going on. (door opens and closes, then swings open again)
