Amy n Kif? Bah, Leela n Fry all the way.  Their just soooooo right for each other. Amy n Kif is OK, but Leela is made for Fry. Fry is made for Leela? Maybe, I don't know... Anyway, I wish they would have a romance.

hmm. i'm not quite sure if it's qualifies as romance rather then s&m
 
but still i vote for amy and kif. not for love of amy/romance (well, not for my hatred to amy too, she does have her lines "a-na! hata-koii hitcha-ne!" (amazon women in love)) but rather for my love of kif. kif rules! oh yeah!

It's hard to decide...both Leela/Fry and Amy/Kif make great couples, but they've got both their goods and bads. Leela/Fry:
Good: Leela is careful enough to stop Fry from almost killing himself accidentally.
Bad: How many eyes would their children have? Amy/Kif:
Good: They're both from other planets (well, Mars is just around the corner).
Bad: Zapp Brannigan might be jealous. ------------------

I haven't seen them together yet (Only 16 more weeks too "Amazonwomen in the Mood" ) but I voted for Amy and Kif (surprise, surprise). Mainly because I really really like Kif and after years of serving under Zapp he deserves some happiness.------------------

I don't think I should be allowed to vote in my own poll. It might end up like the Nickelodeon music videos in '00 where I just kept voting and voting and voting for three hours for M2M. Although it did pay off...

I'm having flashbacks of that really long thread last year at the Outlet...but anyway, there's a lot of examples of that at LiC. Like in the Unique section and in some choice fics at TLZ(Hint hint: Mine and Allen's! ) But it kind of depends on what you perceive Leela to be. Which is a whole other topic of whether she's an alien or mutant. My money's on the latter, but we'll just have to wait and see. I'm betting we'll get at least another hint in S4. Not to mention some LFRism. ------------------

Has to be Leela and Fry. They're the richest charcters in the show, and they should be together. They balance each other out well, he's light-hearted and romantic and she's serious and sensible and smart. And yet somehow they like each other. . .
Amy and Kif are good too, but I don't think they have the potential for good TV that Leela and Fry have.

| Well, Amy and Kif are a very sweet couple and since there is an eppie where Kif gets pregnant, they've definately got a faster evolving relationship than Leela and Fry. I always thought it'd be L&F before A&K though. |

I'm not sure whether the pairing of Fry and Leela is a good thing. It sounds too much like Chandler&Monica on Freinds. Don't get me wrong I like Chan&Mon.If Kif wasn't already involved with Amy, I would love to see a pairing of my two favourite characters: Leela&Kif. But still looking forward to "Amazon Woman in the Mood" ------------------

I think that L&F will end up like Ross and Rachel, without all the unneccessary breaking-up. I mean, you think that everything's working out and then it gets screwed up, like the many near-moments. Plus they've already got the whole 'she-wants-a-divorce, he-doesn't' thing under their belt. So it's a start! But I also think that some conflict will be the final "straw", so to speak, that will ultimately be the deciding force in whether they become a real couple. In comparison to "Friends", the deciding force may or may not be as influential as Rachel getting pregnant. My first choice for the incident would have to be Leela finding out her true origin, but that's based off my opinion that she's a mutant.
Oh, and don't miss the "Friends" season premiere this Thursday!!!!! ------------------

Here is hoping it won't come to that.  Besides there is the whole kliche about people of different genders working together is bound to fall in love. Kinda have mixed feelings about that one too. ------------------

Leela and Fry are sort of good together although I mostly think all the set up works better than anything actually going on between the two. Like though the shippy episodes have been entertaining to me, if they actually hooked up I don't see how there could be much going on there plot-wise since it might end up changing what defines the characters. Amy was supposed to be an intern while Kif was supposed to not so secretly loathe Brannigan with a passion, and at least with Kif, he basically lost that aspect...And I like Hermes and LaBarbara mostly for that latter half since it doesn't seem like they should go together at all considering Barbados Slim... Same goes with Farnsworth and his sea cow (who actually looked good with the ridiculous surgery although a bit thin, when inflated she was a bit too out of scale) but the fact she didn't mind an 160 year old and then some is impressive... My vote still has to go to Morbo and Fawn however. (Assuming of course, that I had that option)
