FIrst character:

Zoidberg.  Discuss.

I think he's at his best when used as a background character with a bunch of well placed one-liners, like "Hooray, I'm being useful!  I'm having a wonderful time!"

I think he's a Milhouse/Dr. Nick type.  Not that his character is the same as them, but that he fulfills the same roles, that is lovable loser (Who wets their bed now, Milhouse?) and quack "physician" (Did you go to Hollywood Upstairs Medical School too?).
However, the ink gag in Cyber House was good the first time, but really unnecessary the second time.

Have you noticed that he always plays a rather big role in the futurama comics. And he's doing funny things all the time there.

And ofcourse he's whooping sound always makes *me* laugh  :)

"Young lady, I happen to be an expart on humans now open your mouth..... no your other mouth"

I may not have gotten that quote quite word for word correct... but it is still funny...

Now open that mouth and let's have a look at that brain.  No, not that one.
I only have one.
Really? ::Takes notes::
Um, is there a human doctor around?
Young lady, I'm an expert on humans.  No pick a mouth, open it, and say, "lplplplblpbpblp."
Uh, ahem, "lplpplplplblpl."
What?  My mother was a saint!  Get out!

now... 'my mother was a saint'
I have thought about something, if all species of the zoidberg species die after having sex. How would zoidberg have know his mother, she most likely died in that water. So he doesn't know his parents, so he doesn't know his mother really was that nice.   :)

Of course he didn't know her.  But his species doesn't seem that differenyt psychologically than us humans.  After all, we make up stories about people who died before we could get to know him (George Washington and the Cherry Tree, for instance).  So, it stands to reason, that Zoidberg assumed his mother was a saint at a young age, and has been believing it ever since.

Best Zoidberg... "So, he's not perfect. You don't wanna to end up old and lonely like ZOIDBERG! Booo-hoo-hooo" From the time-slip episode...

The tendency he always has to seem like a normal well-adjusted person, for then to crack in complete and utter depression  :)

He's a nice character, although best as a sidekick and witty comment supplier.

"Stop! If you interrupt the mating dance, the male will become enraged and maul us with his fearsome gonad!"

On the subject of Zoidberg's role on the show, I think he could be more than a one-liner character. Everyone says he sucks when he plays a central role, but that's just because of Lobstertainment. I think that was just an all-around shoddy effort by the writers...if they get a better story to work with, I'm sure a Zoidberg-centered episode would be great.

Zoidberg rivals Bender for most hilarious character, in my opinion. It's something about him, I dunno what though =D His best lines have to be the conversation he has with Leela about doctors being poor. (Can't remember the exact wording) His facial expression was just hilarious ^_^

Because a lot of people (like me) think that while Zoidy's hi-LARIOUS as a supporting character, he can't really carry an entire episode.

Of course, I think the same about Bender.

Donno I think Zoid could if the writers gave him something to work with.

They could come up with something funny and something that developes his character a little.

I laugh at Zoidberg just because of the way his says the lines, and the expression on his face.

Most of the time he has this innocent stare (kind of a walleyed stare), and is always hilarious.  Seen lots of times when he gives his one-liners.

Changed my mind on Zoidy's best moment. =D It's definitely in the episode they showed in teh uk the other night, with him being injected with some sort of drug, and moaning 'I'm coming down!!!'
