well i read the log and i think you are both wrong. booze was too mean & ben was too "i'm better because i've been on PEEL longer". Date of PEEL registration doesn't matter in #futuramachat.

What the heck is wrong with the chat? For the last few weeks, every time I try to connect (using xchat), I have to switch to another server as it keeps giving me error messages (I'm not autorised to connect, etc) - I just had to try nearly all of the servers on the list before I could get one to work. What gives?

That's my point, I keep having to try them all (pretty much) before I can get in!

I use irc.sick-du.de still, perhaps I'm just lucky but that seems to work. What ever the problem is I hope you manage to sort it out Mel

I use that too... it's just a redirection thing though, so i guess it's just a matter of whether or not your client supports that or not...

Well as some FC'ers know i was banned from the whole euIRC network for no real reason. It turned out to be a simple mistake.

But the reason i am posting here is to give the offical word that irc.cal.us.euirc.net is gone. From the #help chatroom

<sick_boy> irc.cal.us.euirc.net has been removed

so there you go.

Also if you have trouble with banning or anything like that, the best place to e-mail is opers@euirc.net

also from the #help room

<sick_boy> send an email to opers@euirc.net with
<sick_boy> 1. the ban reason
<sick_boy> 2. the ip
<sick_boy> 3. the date

I use irc.bas.ch.euirc.net, seems to be the best server i've used so far

No you're on the right server... #futuramachat just isn't in your list, cause that's a basic listing... You can either add it to that list, or when you connect to the server type /j #futuramachat but you'll have to do that everytime you connect.
