Send your prayers to:
GOD
The Universe

You could also try
irc.whackpack.com
port 6667

This still works for me, and I can't think of any reason why it shouldn't work for you people.

Maybe a whole range of i.p.'s got banned?

irc.sick-de.de doesn't work because it's set to redirect to irc.ppgworld.com (which is down due to its internet uplink being killed by a recent thunderstorm)

As has previously been mention, irc.whackpack.com should work fine.

After alot of googling, try here:
http://www.smotri.ru/cgi-bin/irc.cgi
For a CGI IRC client. Enter irc.sick-du.de for the server and make sure to unselect Russian from the bottom.

The list of people in the chat currently showing on the bottom of the PEEL main page is wrong, I think it has been for a while, you probably were in the chatroom when it was last correct.

i just recommend everyone who uses #futuramachat register your nicknames so nobody else will use it.
command:

/msg NickServ register password email

use your own password and email. make sure e-mail address is correct because you will recieve authorization e-mail just after registation.

everytime you log in this network you will need to type /msg NickServ identify password to identify but it's not neccessary if you dont have Option kill* on.

* Kill option is good is you want to make sure nobody uses your nick. it will change nickname to Hacked2348[...] after minute if you identified with NickServ. /msg NickSev set kill on

what to do if someone uses your nick but you dont have Kill on? type /msg NickServ ghost nickname password. it will kill the user off the server.

if you have any questions, contact me.

Lack of channel-watch just means that Botty isn't in the room.

Complete list of servers on OubliNET (where #fc is) and IP numbers if you have trouble resolving them:

irc.oublinet.net (Round robin DNS entry, so it will pick any server on oublinet at random and send you there. Therefore, it doesn't really have a fixed IP.)
irc.fa.gs (formally known as irc.whackpack.com. IP: 66.218.138.46)
irc.ppgworld.com (the server the applet uses. IP: 66.186.171.201)
irc.oeck.net (the server I use. IP: 64.246.11.190)
spiraling.phaseburn.net (IP: 66.101.19.0)
irc.ryancp.com (IP: 66.28.26.163)
iceflow.org (IP: 66.169.235.128)

It is very important that you enter the hostnames exactly as stated above, as many either have a seperate IP number for the irc. subdomain, or haven't set up an irc. subdomain at all.

As of a couple of weeks ago, the whackpack.com domain expired, thus the new fa.gs domain.

i recommend everyone use irc.fa.gs. because:
- it's a main hub (main server)
- it's always on

about irc.sick-du.de. it re-directs to irc.ppgworld so if you're using it you will connect to irc.ppgworld server (that is often down). it might be a reason some people can't get into chatroom.

Okay, I don't deserve a chatroom ban.

I joked once about licking Pixy's arse. It was a joke, and I only made it because she told me not to touch her.

It wasn't abuse or harrassment. It is nothing compared to the wanton rapes of Speli, et al. (nothing personal, he's just an example). I'd like to make it perfectly clear that I don't think I gave anyone just cause to take offence.

Sometimes the chatroom is nice and laid back, but right now you all seem waaay oversensitive.

Did I do something I don't know about, like murder your parents??

Did your parents hear about me and tell you I was evil??

I don't think so.

What I do think is that you should just laugh along with these things, instead of taking them to heart.

I would no more lick Pix's asscrack (just think - she may not even wipe properly) than i would stick a hamster up my own ass.

You will notice from the logs that I didn;t take offence (not really anyway) at anything that was said to me, at all, and that I played along with it.

To me, it was all in fun.

If you're going to ban people for being light-hearted, Marg, Kip, Spiff, Booze, Pix, you don't deserve to have control of a public chatroom.

Now, are you going to let me back in, or are you going to prove that you don't deserve control, by keeping me banned?

i guess this calls for a statement by me.

first of all: my ban was nothing personal. nor was it directed at your humour (check out the jokes thread, then you'll realize that i'm not easilly offended).
my reason for a ban was simple: i received lots and lots of complains about your behaviour. i could never witness it myself though (or at least nothing i considered ban-worthy), so i didn't do anything.
the asscrack-licking just was the little thing that was too much. i had to ban you because i was about to drown in complaints and seeing as you acted, these complains seemed justified.
i can't unban you now, although i assume the ban is not going to be permanent if you agree to act more civil towards people who don't like your kind of humour.

Like I said, oversensitive. But I'll curb it as long as people say IN PLAIN TERMS when they think I've gone too far, instead of complaining directly to an Op. That's just spiteful.

You are unable to unban me? Damn. Who's ass do I have to lick in order to get back in again?

Note: The tongue smiley is not only used to denote humour, but also the readyness for ass-licking.

Edit: Dammit, now Owen has banned me from the entire network. Why won't that idiot let me into his crappy club for jerks?

I think the chat would be better without Botty 2, at least until it stops kicking people for merely not speaking for one minute, this shouldn't be a problem if a certain channel op didn't find it amusing to make botty an op.

this post is directly ON TOPIC. please read.

I think #futuramachat should move. why?
i can't understand what kind of network is this when admin can do anything and abuse power how they like. i'm sick of owen being basicly channel founder and kicking people out without good reason. like it was discussed before, i think we should move. but before today i was just thinking but now i'm_sure_ we should move. the reason of it, is owen's last action toward me. i was just talking and then i found i was kicked by owen without ANY reason. when i asked him why, he didnt want to answer but was acting like a total jackass. even on IRChat, admins couldnt op themselfs on a channels. in fact *I* lost my IRCop status for a few days because i oped myself in #futuramachat, think about that. i talked with owen about it and it actually reminded me scene from last futurama episode when Robot-Devil showed Leela what she signed. so we're on network where IRCop can do anything and we cant do anything about it because it's network rules and being on this network we agree with network rules. i know slimmy is not very interested in moving because owen gave him IRCop status, but think about that slimmy: you're depending on him. because of your IRCop status owen is being channel founder and doing whatever he wants. of course you'll ask me : what network i want #fc to move. i'll say honestly - i dont know but some other chatter might know. SpacemanSpiff said his friend knows a good network. first thing we should so - decide whether we should or should not move. Thanks.

Today's #fc ain't got the same soul! I like that old time'a chat and scroll.

*thinks back to the days of rastaworld and a fully functional BureauBotNo1*

I'm not saying we have to move, but if we did you probably wouldn't hear me complaining.
