When I have some spare cash, I'll convert to Euro's and send it off. Unfortuantely Xmas bankrupted me, so this will not be soon, however it should arrive before May.

I'm returning to work on January 27. That means I will have more disposable income in my pocket. I'll send out some of that Mickey Mouse Monopoly money, also known as the Euro. Euro, hehe sounds like a compact car..."Presenting the 2003 Ford Euro, ten gallons to the mile and an all new plastic frame, starting at only $50,000." What's the snail-mail addy for PEEL contributions?

Would you prefer EUR or USD? USD are easier for me, but I can find a bank with some EURs. I'd love to send over about USD10. (A little over EUR10 I think.)

Can you put a fundraising thing on the front page of PEEL with a status of how much you need by when? It would draw attention to the fundraising.

What's the German word/phrase for AIR MAIL? I know you should always write AIR MAIL in English, French, and the local language(s).

I can make do with USD. Ten USD would translate to roughly 9 Euros due to the rather low dollar right now, but that's fine.

Incidentally, Spice Weasel sent me EUR20 which brings us to:

Current Fund Level: €100
Next payment: €174 (due June 2003)
Rest needed: €74

Okay, so I'll send you eleven USD. At today's rates, it's 10.29EUR.
I've got it addressed and sealed; I just have to get to the post office so that the proper postage can be put on it. Hopefully that will be tomorrow.

The address is in the first post on the first page (the link there). And the amazon thing only works when people buy from there once they clicked the links (usually 5% of what is bought is paid as commission).

Not in this city. Two different banks told me to drive an hour and a half to the Charlotte Douglas International Airport (in Charlotte) to get some GBP, same goes for EUR. (Fortunately, I'm flying through the Charlotte Douglas International Airport, so I can pick up some GBP on my way to GB.)

You and your big cities having lots of banks with foreign currencies...

Oh, and [-mArc-], I gave at the office. Out of curiosity, where is PEEL hosted that hosting costs EUR348/year?

(And, yeah, I know this is off-topic. Delete it if you must.)

I can make do with AUD and USD just fine.

PEEL is hosted in Germany at a high-performance hoster (last few days were slow due to us being pushed on a backup-server, back now though). They got the service and resources. I could probably host it cheaper at some point, but for now I don't want to switch.

International wire transfer usually comes with a big fee. Money in envelopes is only a stamp. If you still want the international BIC and such, email me.

Aviod paypal if you can. There are security concerns with it. ITs possible for the person recieving the payment, or someone intercepting it to drain your whole account.
