It won't let me connect, cause it says that I'm banned from the channel (+b). Why was I banned? O_O

I will admit that, the other day, the first time I accessed the channel was through IRC - I was using my alternate nick at the time (PokemonTrainerLisa). But I realized I had the wrong name, so I left the chat.

However, after changing my nick, I tried to access the channel again but couldn't (it said my address was banned).

Um, that just seems awfully strange to me, since I didn't do anything wrong....

Could someone perhaps unban me?

I like using IRC chats, and I was hoping to join in on the discussion.

(when I entered though, I had my other nick - the one I use for Pokemon themed channels)

That's rather odd though, considering it's supposed to be a Futurama chatroom (regardless of how often the show actually gets discussed). ^^;

Naturally, I know the importance of using good spelling and grammar over the internet. It's just common courtesy for people to do that though, especially when you're posting on message boards/forums. ^_^

And as for my age, well actually, I'm not as young as one might come to believe. I appear as though I'm only 14 in regards to my hyper personality and my interests, but I am actually 20.

Of course, there's no need to feel bad for making that mistake. Often times, many people are under the impression that there are no true Pokemon fans older than, say 15. But the truth is, even though the Pokemon franchise (games and anime) are targeted towards young kids and early teens, there are still many fans within the franchise's older audience. The majority of us have been with the games/anime since the beginning and therefore are very attached to it, mainly due to the nostalgia it gives us (that and the fact that the games are quite addictive, while the anime has a very compelling storyline which makes you want to keep watching).

Sorry about that.

I admit it's gotten to the point where saying XD has become automatic for me.

Oh, so that's why you don't allow people with those usernames. Makes sense I guess.
