In the new episode of Doctor Who today, the Doctor visited the year 5,000,000,023 and the familiarly named city of New New York. Well actually it was the fifteenth version after the original making it New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New New York but they called it NNY for most of the time.

My hair reminds me aof Futurama now. I just got a hair cut today like one hour ago. My hair reminds me of Leela it's not purple or any thing I just have bangs that hang to the side like Leela. I kept on chanting I'm just like Leela I'm just like Leela. I also put my hair up in a pony tail and made my bangs cover one of my eyes and started to chant I'm just like leela. Some times I think I'm far too childish but oh well I had fun.

Hello All. Most of us here already know that our favorite show shares it’s name with one of the exhibits at the 1939 Worlds Fair. I was reminded of this when I stumbled across these:Page 01, Page 02 Page 03, Page 04 Something I did not know is that there was a similarly named exhibit at the 1964 Worlds Fair. If you’re at all interested, you might look at these: Page 05, Page 06 Page 07, Page 08 Page 09, Page 10 Page 11, Page 12 Comments anyone?

I haven't looked at your links yet, SpaceCase, but I know that there were two 'Futurama' exhibits at two Worlds Fairs. They were 'Futurama' and 'Futurama II', repectively. Well, if the series comes back, they know what to name it!

This sounds a lot like that scene in RTEW when Truman arrived on the base.'Fellas, this meeting's top secret. Noones to know about it 'sept for the scientists, senior officers and a single conspiracy nut who noone will belive.' Majestic-12 or Majic 12 (sometimes written simply as MJ-12 or MJ-XII) is the code name of an alleged secret committee of high-level scientists, military leaders, and government officials, supposedly formed in 1947 at the direction of U.S. President Harry S. Truman. The purpose was to investigate UFO activity in the aftermath of the Roswell UFO incident, the purported crash of an alien spaceship near Roswell, New Mexico in July 1947. This alleged committee is an important part of the UFO conspiracy theory of an ongoing government cover up of UFO information.

I know it was a while ago, but still: quote: "On the more humorous side," he says, "perhaps in a very distant future the humanoid robot who is sitting next to you in a bar might be drinking alcohol in order to work the next day."

I actually have a comic entitled Futurama from 1989. It was made be a Christopher Klein. Take a look at this link to see the cover of the comic http://www.fanboyradio.com/newsletters/FBRnletter0605.pdf On page four it features Klein talking about his comic and how his comic pre-dates Matt Groening's Futurama. Klein wishes he trademark the name so Matt would've never been able to use it.
