I saw a guy at lunch today that looked as close to Fry as humanly possible. Red hair with the front flipped up and everything, it was crazy.

If anybody's ever seen ctr+alt+del, Ethan reminds me alot of Fry. The questionable logic and the extreme devotion to a crazy sceme only to forget about it a few hours later. Not to mention the love of video games and a robot best friend.

This play that I saw today day I think that it was called "Plaid Tidings" had a calypso x-mas song and one of the line said something like "decorate your palm tree with christmas lights" and some fake palm trees popped up that had x-mas lighs wrapped around them. I was thinkg now there's a real fake old-timy xmas tree (because said tree was painted and not real though the lights were real).

FedEx trucks always remind me of Planet Express. (I flashback to the PlnEx stock name in 3x21.)- My sister's three daughters all have bright red hair; the two youngest are twin girls. Every now and then I am reminded of the various Fry-and-Leela-having-twins fics I've read, in which case there's usually at least one redhead kid. I was watching The Simpsons about an hour ago, and Homer bought this... Machine... That at one point said "I will now test my smoke alarm for the next three hours." and then it... Well, you get it. Reminds me of Robo Puppy and his 3 hour ypping sessions.

I got a slink which of course now is my cuddly little pet slinky. Though it isn't metal so it has less of a chance getting bent in to a sraight line and catching on fire when I try to fix it.

idk if this was intentional but if i recall theres a painting or picture of Jfk with his head down that reminds me of a portraint Zapp has in the same pose (of course maybe its zapp reminding me of Jfk or maybe i just think theres a painting like that >> )

Way to grow the brand, Seds. Awesome, awesome to the max!Has anyone else in the US heard the professor's voice on the radio recently? The rock station in my city has a cutover between songs they have been using that has the professor talking about a special delivery. It's lifted right out of an episode and it is a Clear Channel station, so I'm sure it is being used at stations all over the country.

The music in the song "More Than A Feeling" by Boston is pretty similar the the Futurama theme during the refrain.

My friend N - also a huge, albeit new, Futurama fan - is dating a guy whose last name is Fry. I can’t resist teasing her endlessly about it.N: “…our dates are, like…” Me: “Wait, wait, you’re dating Fry?” The other day I just badgered her all day with variations: "Wow, I can't believe you went out with Fry.” “You’re not sleeping with Fry, are you?” “So, Fry doesn’t care that you’re pregnant? Oh, wait. Okay. So Fry doesn’t mind that you’re already knocked up. Okay.” “Was it hard to hook up with him – considering he’s a two-dimensional cartoon living a thousand years from now and you’re a three-dimensional chick in 2008?” Plus she says his ex is now apparently doing the Crazy Ex thing. I just HAD to ask if her name was Michelle. Or if her initials were T.L.

I'm not sure if this counts (Futurama can't remind you of Futurama, right?) but Futurama was referenced on last week's episode of The Simpsons. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned that.

In the animated movie Over The Hedge, there's a sequence where a hyperactive squirrel voiced by Steve Carell drinks a can of Jolt cola, then starts moving so fast that the world around him seems to be moving in slow motion. Remind you of Fry after he drinks his 100th cup of coffee in "Three Hundred Big Boys"? Total rip-off. [This message has been edited by NastyInThePasty (edited 02-06-2008).]

I remember watching the commentary for that movie. They said they thought up that scene themselves. It's just a coincidence.

When I hear someone whine about anything, it always reminds me of Zoidberg. If it is in the family we point it out and end up quoting some kind of Zoidism in his back of the throat, up in the nose Zoidy voice. Years ago, I use to drink twenty or thirty 8 ounce cups of coffee a dayfor two years,(Really, I had a doctor make me sit with him and do the math). I had gone to the doctor because I had a heartbeat that skipped a lub or dub every now and again. He said it was the coffee and if I didn't stop drinking it, he would put me in the hospital with a IV stuck in my arm. So, I stopped overindulging and the arrythmias and fibrillations slowed down to normal with no more skipped heart beats anymore. I also would get sick both winters with all the itises,(you know, sinusitis, rhinitis, pharyngitis, tonsilitis, laryngitis, bronchitis), and then the second year I was an the verge of pneumonia at which point the doctor made me stop drinking massive waves of coffee. I just wonder if there will be a cultural heart condition in the future with all the energy drinks superinjecting caffeine in all these drinks out there. I've never had a heart problem since I gave up that overindulgence of coffee. [This message has been edited by HYPNoBRECKY (edited 02-11-2008).]
