"Kif Get's Knocked Up A Notch":
Zapp: "I "feel a very sensual disturbance in the force"
"The Why Of Fry": The infosphere looks very similar to the Death Star. Nibbler call Leela "the other one", Yoda tell Luke "there is another one". Very flimsy I admit, and I'll chalk this one up as another coincidence. "300 Big Boys": Kif has a double flyswatter like Darth Maul's double lightsaber. "The 30% Iron Cook": "A Pharaoh To Remember": Fry: "I got a bad feeling about this".
This was in the deleted scenes of Kif Gets Knocked up a Knotch when they are being checked in the clinic(I don't quite remember the exact words) Zapp:"Doctor,am I going to make it?" Doctor:"Yes" Zapp:"I mean with Leela!" Doctor:"I'm a doctor, not a miracle worker!"

What about the opener on one episode of season one where Bender and Fry are playing the holographic chess-esque game?

so thats why people think that episode sucked anyways, I'd say the writers are more trek fans, and the animators are more star wars fans. although thats higly speculative.

For me the staff appears to be science-fiction fans primarily and then fans of specific shows. I mean , there a literally dozens of sci-fi movies/shows/books referenced on Futurama, I don't think they have an agenda of pushing one particular show over another.
Ofcourse deep down they're all nerdlingers.
