This is like Donnie Zoido's "Favourite Hated Episode" topic - but in futuristic reverse-o-vision.
What are the episodes that you don't like that everyone else seems to love? I'm not a big fan of The eason Has Landed (season1-episode 2) and Jurassic Bark is over rated in my opinion. Watta 'bout you?

I still haven't figured out what's so damn great about "The Farnsworth Parabox". I mean it got to the semi-finals of Fall Madness, I wouldn't even place it in top-25.

I agree with Teral in a sense about The Farnsworth Parabox in that it shouldn't have got so high in Fall Madness, although I still enjoy the episode, even though I find it a bit monotonous in the scenes where the characters converse with themselves.

I think probably Luck Of The Fryrish is my least favourite really popular episode, although I can't say I hate it as such. I wasn't particularly a fan of much of the dialogue in the second and third acts of this episode and found the Old New York sequence rather slow paced. Also I didn't cry at the end, but then again the closest I came to crying at a Futurama episode was Leela's Homeworld so that says a lot about me, really.  :o

I've never seen what's so amazing aobut "Godfellas".  And is "The Honking" loved?  If it is, throw that on the pile, too.

I never much liked "The Farnsworth Parabox" to be honest, not to the extent some people do. I always thought of "Godfellas" as being good but not brilliant as well.

Not really. Only has 77% on CGEF. But I personally love it.   :p

Say Mattmag, why do you find AFOD "frustrating"?

I didn't see "Godfellas" when it first aired, but everyone wrote about how brilliant it was.  Then I saw it, and had no idea what anyone had been talking about.  I didn't hate it, but I wouldn't call it a great episode.

I didn't like "The Problem with Popplers" very much either.  Free Waterfall Jr. is one of the worst characters ever to appear on Futurama, and he just ruined the episode.

There seems to be a consensus among a lot of people that Parabox is one of the most overrated eps (I don't mean just on PEEL) but it always seems to do far better than it should.

I know it's not a particularly popular episode, but I detest Fear of a Bot Planet, except for the Blernsball sequence - it drives me up the wall - I don't really know why!

Its partly I Think the way bender is,(in FOABP0 its worse than homer scully (i refuse to use the term jerkass homer) but there are other annoying things.
Yeah farnsworth parabox I think is overated too I just think its a waste of an idea making an episode about a parralel universe into a really shipper episode

But as I've said before, jerkass Bender in FOABP wasn't as bad as jerkass Bender in APTR because here he knew when to stop. In APTR, he just had no conscience whatsoever.

Yeah, but Pharaoh had more in the way of redemption - the music and background design to name but a few. There's very little apart from the Blernsball in Bot Planet IMO - it just makes me want to tear out my hair!

I think Chapek 9 required that kinda sense of bleakness and coldness in its surroundings though, in order to communicate just what a No Person's Land it was. But meh, if it really makes you want to go mono-en-mono with your follicles then maybe you got issues!

It really is the worst episode for me.  I see where you're coming from though about the design. I think it's just how whiny Bender is - maybe by Pharaoh I'm desensitised to Bender being pathetic.  It's probably just the fact that its the first Bender-being-an-unforgivable-asshole in the series.

Yeah, I got issues - I have all of you slags!  :laff:

I've been watching RD again today.  :D It makes me happy.

Meh.  Bender with no conscience whatsoever is better.  Why should Bender care what happens to people that aren't him?

"APTR" could have been better if Leela had tried to escape, or resisted capture in the first place; but Bender was great.

Fair point, but ever since it became apparent way back in "I, Roommate" that Bender does have emotions and cares about his friends, it just seems inconsistent for him to turn his back on them like he did in APTR.

Amazon Women in the Mood.  I never liked it.  I dunno if it's loved, but it was really highly rated on polls for a while.  Now everybody's probably cooled on it.  It wasn't that good.

I hate Less then Hero. I'm not sure if it's a loved episode, but most people sound like they like it to some degree. I just hate superhero comic book jokes in general, and this episode was full of them.  :evillaugh:

Luck of the Fryrish, Luck of the Fryrish, Luck of the Fryrish! This was an average episode, and I'll admit it was okay. But I see no reason why it's currently #1 in CGEF's reviews and many people hail it as the most emotional episode ever. I've explained why I didn't like it elsewhere, but I don't want to go on a spammy rant here.  :p

i think the sting was a little bit dumb...but a little bit cute. i like the joke, it went sumtin like this:

leela:.....Fry IS alive!

(Woman in next room yelling through wall): Shut up! my boyfriends alive too! *hears a thump*
..oop...not any more......

i have a question, k i remember kinda how the quote went but i forgot the episode, but it was like...

leela: oh we dont call it uranus anymore, we call it urectum.

Also (lol) 'the farnsworth parabox' is a big deal, cuz it made leela realize she doesnt need to use a dumb coin to choose if she wants to go on a date, with Fry. And bender found someone as great as he is! LoL, and zoidberg.....ya.

Jurassic bark was a big deal too because, well in my opinion, i liked the ending, in a sad way. The music made it even sadder! Nd think, if fry had a clone of his dog, Bender would get jealous again, i bet. But the flashbacks and everything.

What about the new years episode? i noticed fry's weird voice when he said "Oh no! not again!" i laughed, it was like a nerdy voice. And Benders voice sounded older, I liked the part were leela and fry and bender r in the sewers, and fry puts him hand on leela, they look at each other, fry feels something and looks at his hands and sees benders hand on his and frys like, "What, is the matter with you?"

Ya  i know i talk alot
