Who is it? You dont have to choose just beacause of what he/she did in Futurama.

Mine is John DiMaggio. He's especially funny in the commentaries. He also played Wakka in FFX. Billy West came in a close second.

i went for john

you know he also played kimahri in ffx.
i could tell easily with wakka
but didn't know he was kimahri till the ending
credits. he was probably other miscellaniois characters to.
I'd kind of like a list of the voice actors in ffx
its hard to take them all in just watching a credit screen roll down, and i really cant be botherd to struggle through the final bosses again

oh and also phil la marr played 'vamp' in

I first realized Wakka was John DiMaggio when i heard him yell "Outta my Way!" before a battle. I knew he sounded familiar before that, but when he said that, i thought i was watching futurama. It sounded exactly like bender. I checked the manual and saw that he did Kimahri too.

Also, sonic in Sonic Adventure 1 sounded a lot like Billy West, but sadly, it wasn't...

Do you have FFX International or PAL? I have NA version and it says in the back in the credits

I have to shock some people by chosing Maurice LaMarche.

He does a ton of great voices on the show: Kif, Morbo, Lrrr, H.G. Blob, AOI narrator, etc.

But after hearing him on the season 3 DVD, I'm now officially a fan of this hillarious Canadian. I almost laughed 'til I puked when I first heard his Shatner impersonation during the "Amazon Women In The Mood" audio commentary.

Tress McNeille is phenomenal too, and even though she only does one voice, Katey Sagal is pretty great as Leela as well.

i went with john, since he's hilarious on the dvds and sometimes just the way he makes bender say things makes me laugh.
i gotta agree with teral, maurice is great too, especially because of lrrr and morbo ("i will destroy you!" ).
nevertheless i had to go with john just because the thought of some of his comments make me giggle like a schoolgirl already. and i'm talking about the way he said it here, not the content of the comments.

Well, that's kind of a vauge question. You see, I enjoy Billy's and John's sense of humor and stuff if we're talking 'bout the commentaries, but I think Katey Sagal really hits some great lines, "I wanna hear how it ends" or "It got through, Fry, it got through".

Of course Billy really is a genious.  :)

I heard that she also did Clobberella, too...
But, as to favourite voice actor... It'll have to go to Billy West for now... I think that his voices are by far the funniest on the show.  I like DiMaggio as well, but you can usually tell which voices are his, a lot of them aren't that different.  Oh, and Maurice LaMarche's voices are really impressive, considering the range they are in (I'm thinking specifically of Morbo and Kif singing in Amazon Women). Oh, great. Now I don't know who to vote for!

OK, first of all, in my opininon, this show had the best assmbled animation voice acting talent in America.  If you need proof, just look at the voice work the memebrs have done before and since.  Second of all, you forgot Frank Welker and should thusly be ashamed of yourself.  He's done so many voices and parts, that to count them all would be a futile venture.  My vote would have been for either Billy or Frank.  But since Frank is not listed, Go Billy!

Now a few things are making my mind sway on this.

-Phill Lamarr is Samurai Jack, also the dude in Pulp Fiction that provided the movie with it's darkest laugh.
-John Dimaggio developed and MAINTAINED a completely cool accent for Wakka that was phenominal.
-Tress played Gadget who was my first and last Disney character crush, Gadget hackwrench, in addition to Babs and Dot, all of whom were leading characters, but very distinct.

I'd take my vote back, but I don't know where I'd end up putting it now.  This is a tough choice.

Uhm..........I'm gonna have to go with John DiMaggio thanks to how hilarious he is in the commentaries.

Gah, this is too hard anyway.  The show has a great cast.

I'm the first to vote for Tress MacNeille, but why? I can't believe she's no-one else's favorite. After all she provides nearly all the female & child secondary voices on Futurama. Same deal with the Simpsons; plus she was 'Dot' on Animaniacs, who can resist that...
Here is a list of some of her work for those who are interested, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0534134/

THEY ARE ALL GREAT...  GREAT VOICES....  I think each person that plays the voices were perfect for what they were chosen for (then again they've always been in those voices).

My vote goes to Billy West though, he's just a great voice actor.  Second would go to John Dimaggio; I just love Bender's voice.

I voted for Billy, but just like everyone has been saying all of these guys are great.  Now for a little more voice over trivia...
Billy West has been on Crank Yankers as Wushu (The Chinese guy who "Like Big ass" )
John DiMaggio is in a few of the Animatrix episodes as some minor characters.(I forgot he was  in FFX, now I have another reason to play it again)
Frank Welker did the Freddy voice in Family Guy("That's right Scoob, we're dealing with one sick son of a bitch."...I found it hilarious that he actually did the voice for that line and not some imitator.)

Only one mention in this thread for Dave Herman?? Every voice he does is hilarious, especially Slurms McKenzie. And that laugh he gives that karate teacher in 'Raging Bender' cracks me up every time.

David Herman.  (Whom I voted for under "guest voice specify" as he is always listed under "guest starring" in the credits.)  Too many great voices.  The veterinarian in "I Second That Emotion" is still my favorite single performance of the series.

Don't get me wrong, though.  I love the entire cast.  The voice talent on this show is incredible.  It's a big reason why Futurama is my favorite show.

Why has no one voted for Lauren Tom?  Her chinese swearing alone should merit several votes.

Actually, I think it's a good thing it wasn't Billy West doing Sonic's voice, as his voice acting was very stiff and expression-less, I'd hate to think Billy was capable of such crap.

Anyway, I voted for Billy, just because he's so amazingly diverse.

Yes, Billy. Because of his versatility... It's amazing how none of his voices have ANY shared characteristics. (except for the recording of the guy who smells the ball of garbage in "A Big Ball of Garbage". It is the only place I can hear a resemblance between the voices of Fry and Farnsworth)... Maurice is almighty too. Again, the diversity... And DiMaggio is great as Bender, Tress is great as Hattie and the slurm queen (and more). And who didSlurms McKenzie? Is that Dave...? That's just hilarious! What about the guy who does the animals (He's mentioned on the season one DVD commentary of "Mars University" )...
