The game preview looks pretty bad, at least animation wise. Personally, I would like to see more episodes done. However, at this point, our best hope is a tv movie. Which is what I voted for.

Another game would be meaningless to me unless it came out on PC. As for a movie - I'd love to see one, but I'm just not sure if it could work. The episodes are the whole reason I fell in love with Futurama in the first place, so that's what I'd love to see most. That's how I'd most like to see Futurama "contine."  ;)

All three. Also by the way the animation isn't that hot to rival final fantasy and all that, but the game is funny and fun to play so I don't care.

Uhhh... another game I think. I don't want a movie, it will cheapen Futurama. And I think season 5 episodes are more season 14 simpsons style and it was going down hill, so I'd say only more games.

Since the games wont be available for PC, that'snot an option I care about. A movie would be cool, but overall I'll take more episodes in a heartbeat. They are the reason we love Futurama.

Personally, I'd like to see a movie(s) followed by new episodes. But out of one or the other, definitely the new episodes (although I wouldn't mind seeing some two/three parters).

I'd definitely like to see some new episodes as my first priority, although a Futurama movie would be pretty cool.

Maybe if the new episdoes would follow the Star Trek seven year run, that would be OK.  Any longer and it would probably suffer not unlike the Simpsons.  And what the hey, more of everything!  Isn't that what the people say?  More is better than Not More?

More episodes.  I have not noticed a slide in quality in the S4 shows.  In fact, more than a few are in my top 10.  I would love to see them do at least another 18, as 100 episodes is the minimum best number to have in the world of syndication.  So - I'm not being greedy, just give us a S5.  If I had Bill Gates' money, I'd finance them, then give them to Cartoon Network.

As to the movie - that scares me.  Although I have tons of faith in TPTB behind Futurama, a movie would be the time equivilent of 4 episodes, and a typical 22 minute Futurama contains 45 minutes of laughs (I'd explain that here, but it's all terribly scientific and requires extensive charts and graphs to make it clear.) Could they maintain that pace for an hour and a half, or would we see some padding to stretch it out to feature length?

I can easily sit through and enjoy 4 back to back episodes on DVD (even if one of them is "The Honking" ), but each 22 minutes we enter a whole new story.  In a feature, one main plotline would have to go for an hour and a half.  What if it was a 90 minute "The Honking"?

Would I go to see it?  Sure.  Would I buy the DVD?  Day and date, AND I would gladly double dip for the Super Genius Extreme Deluxe Edition (Now With Flavor!) when it came out a year later.  BUT - I would make myself sad if I had to go to CGEF and give it a 3 on the ratings page.

In short - I'm not so sure Futurama would have the same magic in a 90 minute format, but I would love to be proven wrong.

I 100% agree with what Damitol said on the movie. That's what I've been trying to say, he just put it well.

I'd say there are 10 episodes I prefer over any season 5 episode.

Definetly more episodes and a movie would be good if it didnt seem like they were trying to stretch out the idea.

Just a movie, or three, for me thanx. More eps would be good, but I wouldn't want to take the risk incase they turned out crap, and there are many reasons why they could. As for a game, I can't play the first freaking game thanx to it not coming on GC, so that's out of the question for me as well.

I would like Futurama to continue in candy form

but i guess i will vote episodes.
the game is boring. the only good thing about it is the sexxy sexxy voice acting/music with voice acting
a movie would be sexxy, but let's face it, would probably be a box office flop and David X would be out on the street eating out of a garbage can.

Cartoon shows usually don't change well into Movies.  Other than South Park, Bigger, Louder and Uncut, I can't think of one that is as good in the movies as on TV.

Now, if anyone could pull it off, the Futurama people probably could.  However, I would think that a better tack, if they are ambitious and want more freedom, is to do a miniseries and show it on HBO or another premium channel.

But, lets face it, what these people are good at is the 1/2 hour sitcom.  So stay with your strengths.  I would like to see an hour long special, if they go back into production, but I would be so happy if they would just give me my show back.

As for the game, since it is on the x-box, how are would it be to port over to a PC?

I would just like it to finish it's story. I don't want it to go on forever and start becoming stupid, like the Simpsons, but I just want it to finish. I want all loose ends tied, et cetera...

I'd say more episodes.  A movie sounds great too, but I'd still be a little skeptical about it.  As for a game...I dunno...I haven't played the first one yet (need to borrow my friend's PS2 and give the game a rent), but the reviews have been far from good.  I'd be thrilled if they could come out with a genuinely good game (one that stands on its own, without the Futurama liscense attached to it), but that's doubtful.

Yep, you're right there - expect the South Park movie was called South Park: Bigger, LONGER and Uncut. And, yes, there is a penis joke in the title, although it'd be wiser for me not to explain it.

All three, contingent on the quality of the series remaining intact, in the following order:

1. movies, movies, movies!!!  This is the smartest writing staff in television.  I have zero doubt in their ability to craft multiple quality products.  I think they can handle ninety minutes at a crack.  David X. wants one, but I'm with Matt Groening: make a trilogy, or even more.  I don't give a damn how it does at the box office, though I think it would pleasantly surprise people.  I also have no objections to direct-to-dvd releases.  Just give me movies!!!

2. more episodes.

3. more games, on the assumption that the quality would continue to improve.

4. candy form.  I like that one, VF.  (I had to put a 4th of 3 choices.  Every good trilogy has a fourth part.  Ask Rush.)

I put in all three.  Although personally I only want more episodes and a movie or several, I see no reason why the people who want more games should be denied.

Movies. It's where they want to go, it's where I'd like to see them go. I'd like to see just how far they can take the premise.

To those saying the only successful cartoon to movie film was South Park... I say... what else was there?

Was there some sharp witty cartoon that went to the big screen and stunk it up? I'm confused... the only Tv cartoons to go big screen were kiddie fare, no?

That's a really good point actually.  Beavis and Butthead had a movie too, but still...

Part of the worries also might be that some other adult shows (ones that's aren't animated) have been been also, with varying success.  But still, good point.

Ah Beavis & Butthead I forgot that one... but it was pretty good, if I recall. The moment Butthead meets Chelsea Clinton (off screen) and says "Hey Chelsea, I see you have braces. I have braces too" and gets his arse hurled from the window, that's priceless. So now we have two examples of smart (mature) small screen animated shows that made a successful leap to the big screen. Anything else you can think of?
