Cool episode, I really liked it. Although I’m not really a fan of super heroes apart from Spiderman, I always liked the idea of Fry and Leela getting super powers. It’s just a really cool idea, and I loved the way they took the rip out the whole superhero genre. This episode was pretty wacky, and I’m not normally a fan of wackiness, but in this episode it really worked, and helped show how ridiculous the superhero genre can be. And also the wackiness was really funny too. There were just so many hilarious moments and great lines, it reminded me of the classic Season One days. I think my favourite part in the whole episode is where Fry and Leela are in Dr Zoidberg’s surgery putting on the miracle cream, and Zoidberg is just going on, and then suddenly out of nowhere Professor Farnsworth comes bursting through the wall. I really wasn’t expecting that at all, and then when he’s getting up he says “Bad news nobody” which added to the hilarity and randomness, and then we had another classic line about a wobbly CD player, class! I also loved the pie-kea joke about Swedish crap and wheel falling off. And another joke that was class was the mutant joke where Leela’s dad is telling the 3 armed guy and leg mutant (happy days) about Leela being Cloberella, but not to tell anyone. Then it pans out to the edge of the lake and we see a mutant with huge ears who then tells a mutant with a huge mouth, awesome! Another great part was the cheesy theme song, I loved it, and I like the way they re-used it at the end as well, recycling the cheesiness. The moment where they’re fighting the animals in the museum, and Benders having a fight with the kangaroo, and then we get some binary when he gets hit, that was so cool too. It was also really cool to see Leela’s parents again which gave the episode some more depth. I’ve gotta admit that they weren’t exactly that great in this episode though, but it was good to see them again. I really liked some of the location shots in this episode as well. There weren’t as many cool angles as there were in ‘Leela’s Homeworld’, but there were some really great shots, like when Fry Bender and Leela are on the roof of the Planet Express building, it just looks cool. And their costumes were great as well. I think one of the letdowns was the Zoo Keeper though. He just wasn’t special, and I wasn’t that keen on his character. I wondered why the robber had to be a zoo keeper anyway? But I guess some of his animals helped make up for it, like the Elephant that never forgets… to kill, and when he used the snake to get the jewel. But the ending seemed a bit rushed, like they tried to tie up too much at once, but they just about managed, but it seemed kinda forced to me. But other than that, I thought this was an awesome episode

I thought the episode was pretty good, but towards the end, really fell apart. It started off with a great premise, but seems to have run out of time, and as a result, everything gets thrown together in the end.I did dig the New Justice League theme song, what a hoot. I find Leela's parent's annoying, too. _________________________________ Clobarella beats you up, Clobarella beats you up, who does she beat up...you! Clobarelllllllaaaaaa.

Probably true... up until now. Leela just requested and received two mutant passes *for her parents* from the mayor of the city. So one would assume that she is now s.o.l., and that the appropriate officials will be along shortly with blernsball bats to escort her to the sub-surface. Though I still maintain that she and her parents are *alien* mutants, and not humutants.

You love Futurama for its poor stories and little to no intelligent humor? Huh. I must have been coming at the series from the wrong direction all this time. Was this the best Futurama episode? No. Was it the worst Futurama episode? That's oxymoronic. There is no such thing as a worst Futurama episode. It's all good. "Hey, Zoidberg, get in here!" "Screw you!"

I have to angrily disagree with those saying that episode was "worst ever". Yes, the storyline was a bit poor. But, after all, it's not “Romeo and Juliet”, we are watching, aren't we? It was funny, there were some jokes I really liked (piano one, for example). Superheroes parody was quiet amusing. And despite all critics, there's something bright and good in this episode, something that I cannot put my finger on but it made me re-watch it four times in a day, when I dawnlauded it.

Having seen this courtesy of Juliet sending me the episodes, I liked it. Not one of the greatest episodes, but not one of the worst.I think the bit I enjoyed the most was "(pi)kea" - "Enjoy your affordable swedish crap", which made me laugh out loud. Get's a 6.5/10.

They are subtitles, you know, the text at the bottom of a screen when someone is speaking? It's not a transcript. When loaded with the video it uses the numbers as a time-stamp (or something) to know when/how long to show the text for.

I enjoyed this episode as well. I'd rate it a solid B, as it was a great sendup of all the cheesy 60s / 70s superhero shows. Sure it doesn't compare to the best Futurama episodes, but very entertaining (to me, at least).

Just saw this on Sky.Pretty poor overall, a Simpsons Halloween Special (you all know which one) stretched out into a 'full' episode. It also seemed very short, as well! The show just sort of... stopped. Either Sky snipped a couple of minutes or they're using some kind of time compression on shows tonight - some of the voices on The Simpsons immediately before seemed a bit 'off'. The only parts I laughed at were the Ikea jokes and Bender's binary 'Pow!'. The rest of it was just a lot of running around and shouting. If I were eight years old or a big Adam Sandler fan, I might find that funny. But I ain't either. And didn't Amy come across as uncharacteristically mean? Mind you, this wasn't a show where characterisation seemed terribly high on the agenda... Quick edit: the comics did the superhero bit far better with 'Planet Xpress-Men' in #8 as well! Naha. Since it was a Futurama episode it wasn't horrendous, but as a Futurama episode it was pretty lame. More could have been done with this, the plot seemed half-hearted. It had good moments, I liked Bender in this episode, along with Fry, but Leela's role was weaker and too sentimental. Had very good ingredients (Batman spoof, characters with superpowers, Leela's parents, a great theme song) but it was handled messily. The only good thing was the theme song. Like I say, it had good moments, but no real redeeming moments, though Leela's costume was pretty...pretty Sadly, apart from that, I missed about 20 minutes of the Brazilian Grand Prix, and I'm almost tempted to say, apart from about a combined 5 minutes, I want them back!

At last, after a very long while, a Futurama episode that didn't leave a trace of a bad taste in my mouth. It's quite ironic really, because I thought this one would be terrible, and 'Jurassic Bark' would be great, but it actually turned out the other way round. Okay, it wasn't GREAT, but it was noticeably better than a lot of season 4 and 5 has been. The storyline wasn't the greatest (especially the Zoo Keeper - I bet they came up with him in 5 seconds), but this is the first time in a while that Futurama has made me do more than just smile. Dr Zoidberg was great - much more like what he used to be in season 1/2, and I loved the mutant scene. Those ones with the big ears and mouth - genius! The line that made me laugh the most, though, was when the Professor told the crew to exchange that thing from Pikea for 'some of those rancid meatballs'. I LOVE those meatalls that you can get from Ikea, but the rest of my family say they taste like dogfood, so that was a particularly funny line for me. Things I didn't like? Well, the villain I've already mentioned, plus his animals were bad too. I hate it when animals get 'personified' in 'The Simpsons', and it was just as bad here, too. Plus that line about the elephant who never forgets... to kill was just like a lame 'Simpsons' joke. Leela's parents weren't too bad, and I didn't mind Bender doing good for a change.. but there was just something a bit too 'Treehouse of Horror' about the episode for my liking. I suppose it just wasn't futuristic enough for me. I'll give this episode 3/5. I know it seems harsh after the praise I've given it, but I only award 5 to top of the class episodes like 'Luck Of The Fryrish' and 'Xmas Story', and 4 would go to an 'average' season 1 or 2 episode, which this still wasn't on par with. Still a refreshing change from the likes of terrible episodes like 'A Pharoah To Remember' and 'Where No Fan Has Gone Before'.

...and 20 hours after Interlagos was turned into the world's most expensive car park, I finally got to see this episode.Clobberella's cute! The episode itself was pretty funny, especially the Mayor trying to contact the superheroes and keep F,L and B in the room at the same time. But I thought the stuff with Leela's parents was tagged on to the episode. One other thought - how did Leela strip off her Clobberella costume to reveal her normal clothes?
