I really like this episode and thought this was the best Amy and Kif episode ever. it has an unexpected storyline and it really kicks in.

Zapp was really funny in this episode. I found it really funny the way he lay in bed next to Leela and she punches him. There way some really nice moments with Kif and Amy especially the hologram room scene. Now the thing that disappointed me is that Amy didn’t really got Kif pregnant, it was Leela!!! But they still play it along as though Amy did get Kif pregnant.

Great moments from Zoidberg when he cried like a baby and Kif given birth was a hilarious. The very end bit cracks me up. I Love the little babies in the end.

I liked it, though. And now I have something to work with for my Jade fanfic.

Zapp blowing a hole in the ship, flying ironing board, angry dome, dangerously malfunctioning holodeck, EVIL LINCOLN . . . . .

This episode was really funny. I especially like the professor's machine. "Even I laughed at me when I built this thing, but I showed me!"

Did you notice that the only clumsy babies were the two-eyed ones? Hmm...makes you think about the old Leela v. Amy wars.

Okay, I'll admit that I had some pretty high hopes for this episode, so this review is going to be unfair.

When I heard the description, of Kif getting pregnant, I first though "Alien parody". And, for a while, I was doing pretty well. The cryo-sleep before danger (Alien 1), everything getting sucked out into the vaccum of space (Alien 1, Alien 4). After I realized this was going to be a 'shipper episode, I was immediately disappointed.

This seemed very, very rushed. Like the last Kif/Amy episode, "Where the Buggalo Roam", it didn't really strike me. Many good joke tangents were quickly abandoned. I would have liked to see a Leela/Kif "stay together for the kids" thing, or Fry and Amy being jealous that their crush impregnated the other's.

However, Zapp and Zoidberg completely rocked in their particular parts. Zoidy flying out of the tube was so expected, but so funny nonetheless.

And what is it with feel-good, warm and fuzzy endings this 'season'? So far, 3 out of the 5 eps shown have some sort of moral at the end.

Great Lines (not sure if they're 100% right, cuz I don't have them with me)

Zapp: "Our love has gone through so much, including your hatred of me, Leela."

Farnsy: "Even I laughed at myself when I built this..."

Overall, a medicore 6 out of 10.

Woohoo...finally, a good episode. Definitely the best of the season, although it slowed down towards the end. "A little lower...and a lot softer." Zapp was great. I think he should have been the father. He's been there for Kif, for all these years. What has Leela done? Nothing! She is nothing.

I didn't like Zoidberg crying like a baby though. I mean come on, what the hell.

Good episode me thinks. I liked the pokes at holographic characters always coming alive on Star Trek. I like episodes with Zapp, plenty of good one liners here. I also enjoyed the frog on Kif's planet eating Bender, then spitting him out with the cigar in his mouth.

GREAT episode. Excellent one-liners, I mean, some really funny stuff, like when the Midwife says (paraphrased) "I'm the great Midwife" and Fry goes "HI!". Hilarious.

The plot was somewhat bizarre, but it ended up great. It was just a funny, funny episode. The laughs continued for the whole ep.

9 out of 10!

Eew. What gross thingees. Did you notice Kif turn bright green when birthing? I read the synopsis and thought that Amy was going to get pregnant. I suppose that's gender bias.

I think inventing a way for Kif to get pregnant was creative. It was a nice way of reminding the audience that Amy and Kif are still together. I would still like to see them get married.

I was a tad disappointed that they decided to throw away this plot line. It does nothing to progress Kif and Amy and only destroys Leela. They could have gotten Kif and Amy married. (Do you get the point that I want to see that?)

Nothing says that Kif and Amy have to raise their young. Kif has never talked about his parents. Amphibians often don't raise their young. I think having a little Kroaker appear on the Nimbus would be cool.

I also liked the throwaway joke about the glove...the poster in hygiene class.

Nice ST:TNG reference with the Holodeck/Holoshed. I was originally thinking something slightly dirtier with the Holoshed until they showed it to us. While in the Holoshed, I liked, "Run program kif://3"

Zapp's idiocy - in some ways, beyond Fry's - shows blatantly in this ep. Such as, "The creatures from the Holoshed are alive!" "I'm going to go relax in the Holoshed."

The stuck moon saving Kif was great. Irony of nearly killing him to saving him. I was originally thinking that Amy was going to jump out after him. Oh, and why are they not dead?

i liked this ep, but i was a little confused by leela's lack of reaction and lack of attachment to her own progeny. Especially considering this ep took place before she found her parents so one would expect her to be more interested in her only known family. there was almost no reaction from her (or Fry) at all.

This episode was okay, but it seemed like there was a lot of wasted opportunites. (Watch, this is the ep Sarge worked on the most.)

I think a Zapp/Kif baby would have been hilarious. Kif plays best off of Zapp, and fatherhood would really make Zapp's antics funnier.

I was half-expecting jealousy from Amy and Fry over their crushes being 'involved' with each other. Maybe have them team up to wreck the pregnancy. (If I can't have him/her, then no one will!) Instead, Fry gets like 4 lines total, and the Leela/Fry thing is ignored for a lackluster plot point.

The episode was average for Futurama.
I didn't expect much because I hate that Amy's character has changed to fit with Kif. I've also not seen Futurama in a long while so I was anticipating some classic goodness.

The episode ended up being a little better than I thought it would be with some good jokes, but not many... and the story line was still un-intresting.

I liked this ep more than I though I would. It was funny right from the start, with Amy doing all those slick moves on the party board then falling flat on her face when she stepped off. Zapp was very good as usual.

Kif: The Holo-shed is on the fritz again, the characters turned real.
Zapp: Damn, the last time that happened I got slapped with three paternity suits.

The storyline was fairly unpredictable and it had a couple of unexpected turns, like Leela's DNA being responsible for impregnating Kif. I'm not a fan of the whole Kif/Amy romance but I think they made the best of a bad situation. All in all above average. 7.5 outta 10.

I liked this episode alot it had a nice mix of humor and emotion.
I especialy liked the scene when Kif was crying into his 'tea'? and sorrowfuly said Amy's name. very touching I thought.
I also liked Zoidy crying like a baby at the shower lol
The Angry Dome, The HoloShed good jokes

The only thing I didn't like which has been stated by others is the lack of response from Leela, and Fry about Leela impregnating Kif. But I think I can understand Amy's lack of response, as she was afraid to Commit to Kif...

8/10 is my vote

I liked this a lot, give it 8.5 of 10, another example showing Kif and Amy can carry an episode.
Loved Leela (lack of) expression in the centrifuge, with her hair peeled back like a starfish. Tried to read Amy's calendar before it was overtaken by motherhood, but the VCR tape wasn't that clear.
What I could make out was:
01 - Bimonthly dimple rotation
02 - Yoga rave
03 - Grucure ????
04 - Baby shower
05 - Shop
07 - Lunch with Molly
08 - Trash Molly with Tina
09 - Trash Tina with Molly
10 - Find new friends
11 - Cuteness trainer
13 - Pony aerobics
14 - Recharge bra
15 - Extreme ???? therapy
16 - Finish thesis, buy stocks
17 - Adopt all puppies
18 - Pity party for the less popular
19 - Green shirt day
22 - Tolstoy seminar
24 - Neutron croquet
25 - Search couch for spare millions
26 - Do something for myself
28 - Benefit for divorced princesses
31 - Rearrange teddy bears, promote Mr. Fluffy
Can anyone fix these or make out the others? Some I guess we'll have to wait for widescreen DVD to read. Maybe FOX would reorder Futurama if they were promised episodes of Amy recharging her bra, though I'd like to see her discussing Tolstoy at the same time

I just have one thing to say:
Worst Futurama ever!
A plot with such little joke-oppertunities and blandness needed a B-plot, but this didn't. It just dragged on and on and on. There were a few funny parts, like the Angry Dome and Zoidberg in that alien machine and him with his babyish crying, but it just wasn't funny at all for the most part. Sorry, but this was just bad. But luckily, there are only like 3 episodes I truely thought wasn't funny. This was one of them.

While I probably don't agree as strongly as Shadowstar I do agree that he hit the nail right on the head. Where was the second plot? I think if this episode had something else going for it it would have been better. From reading the descriptions of the episode it sounded like we would get more of Kif's homeworld but that really didn't play much of a part in the whole story. I think if Kif had gotten pregnant and then the rest of the episode focused in on that and maybe his relationship with his parents it would have worked better. And where is the meeting with the in-laws? The Wongs and the Krokers might have been fun to see.
If Amy's parents are a little over bearing just think what Kif's parents were like. Some good little moments here and there (like the Leela tadpole swimming in front of the camera at the end) but not enough to carry the whole thing. I rate it a second in the three Amy/Kif episodes with Amazon Women in the Mood being tops and Kocked Up and Buggalo running neck and neck for second.
