I have seen some stuff from this episode and alls I can say is ooh lala! I guess MAC had a premonition when they produced their Swimsuit Leela figure!

It should air real soon on the East coast or at least for those on the East coast I hope it airs pretty soon. West coast still has 3+ hours to go.

Great episode, raising so many questions!
Was a great story line and very touching in the last act. Loved the dancing bit, 'My people's native dance'. It was really saddening when Fry was hitting Bender, crying on the floor and then crying over the lava pool.Deserves the max rating! 
Space Pilot 3000: Nibbler shadow
AOI1: No Nibbler shadow, Fry's not frozen.
Jurassic Bark: Nibbler shadow and a shadow that appears to be Fry!?! My theory: Nibbler needed Fry to travel back in time to freeze himself and to save the world again.

I really like this episode. Seymour the dog is very cute, Bender and Zoidberg were funny, Fry dancing was so cool and sexy,  and Leela and Amy get jiggy together in wrestling.The end was so sad ------------------

Beautiful episode! My new all-time fav!  The professor finally got to play God again, and Leela and Amy were performing acts that had me on the edge of my seat  Combined with excellent storytelling and outstanding animation (as always), this makes for one of the best Futurama episodes ever shown!

It left me quite unimpressed. There were a few good jokes, especially "I'm 40% dolomite!" As we've already got him at 110% other metals as well, it's making a deliberate crack at that. I think the same people that liked Leela's Homeworld will like this one, but I didn't really think either of them were that great.[This message has been edited by RandomEngy (edited 11-18-2002).]

| In Jurassic Bark, there is a very brief moment where Fry puts the pizza box on the desk, you can see a Nibblonian's eye peering from under the desk (no shadow)! I hope this situation will be clarified in a later episode. |

Glad im not the only person that had a . . uh. . special interest in Leela's outfit. . . Yeah, overall I liked the episode, but its not my favorite. Maybe because im hungover, or because Im sick. I agree, I loved the Professor's script.

The episode went to fast to have a sad ending and haveing Cubert in the episode didn't help.C-------------------

I thought it was a great episode. It's been awhile since there was an emotional Fry-centered episode. (I don't think there was one last "season." )I thought the story was pretty good, and I liked the lay-in with the additional complications on Fry's freezing scene. The professor had some good lines, it was nice to see Bender's magician outfit come back (they said it would in the S1 commentaries.) It was also nice to see the first of the promised sexification for this season. Amy and Leela wrestling was nice, as was Leela coming very close to tearing off her shirt. Wow. . im watching Simpsons, the one where Homer gets a Satellite dish. . .I think its new? Anyway, Bart is sitting in class, and he pretends to use a renote control to change his classmates into TV characters, and one of them is bender! Just thought you might want to know.

I had a few minor arguments with the plot, but nothing that ruined the show. Full of great laughs, mostly Bender/Fry gags. This episode was strinkingly sexy... but also blended with sadness. Ending left a sour taste in my mouth, much like that of Parasites Lost or Time Keeps On Slippin', more of the latter.The Nibbler appearances made me wonder, but took me off-guard at first. Guess I missed something. 3.5/5, 7.5/10

Good Episode! I liked Leela's Outfit..too bad they stopped her from ripping it off...oh well. It had a touching plot, and the ending was quite sad. I enjoyed it, fry dancing around was funny, leela and amy wresteling was also cool. Not the best, but better than average, i liked it better than last weeks episode.

Very good episode. A lot of great lines from Fry, Bender, and the Professor. I enjoyed the character developement given to Fry, Bender, and Seymour, without seeming too forced.Cubert's appearance didn't really bother me,Scruffy operating the pulley was great. Amy and Leela wrestling was also rather interesting. The "flashbacks" to Fry's life before getting frozen were also nice to see, although Fry's dad seemed to borderline insane at times. The Nibbler appearances were a nice leadup to "The Why of Fry", although I have trouble believing that the "new" shadow next to Nibbler's is Fry's. Where could he possibly be in the room without being seen?

Here in Ontario, it was cancelled because of Football. This is the first time I've EVER missed an episode when it first aired. I won't be able to watch it anytime soon (if ever) on Fox, and I don't have Cartoon Network for when it is picked up there, so is there a webside I can go to to download it? I'm sure I'm not the only one in this situation. Thanks.

Also, I remember Brad Forbush working for an entire week on getting Fry to lock his bicycle correctly. This is known in the industry as anal-retentive directing. I mean...a friggin week. Everyone saw how Fry eventually leaned over, *click*, bike is locked, no problem. That's the way it should've been storyboarded in the first place. What a waste of time & talent.  I saw that kinda shit all through the Simpson years. Pisses me off no end. Fuckin writers.

Been a while since I've posted here. But it's also been a while since new Futurama has aired.This was a great episode. I just finished watching it again and the ending started to make me tear up, just like in Luck of the Fryish. Of course, this episode was like that one in a lot of ways, but they were both very good. Was that really Fry under the table? Sounds interesting if it is. Too bad we'll have to wait about two months before we get anymore new Futurama again.

I really liked this ep, despite the fact that for half the episode the voices were out of sync with the animation by 2 seconds, but beggars can't be choosers. Along with the stuff already mentioned, Bender beating up Zoidberg cracked me up for some reason.Hmm, 8.5/10. [This message has been edited by Ben (edited 11-17-2002).]

if his dog was so great why haven't we heard about it before now? The episode was good, but I don't think the sad ending really fit with the tone of the earlier parts. Nice jokes. Stupid Cubert, does he just live in that cloning room? why didn't they throw him in the lava? 7/10

Oh, god...I shouldn't be the one to post the synopisis. I'd forget too much important information and the like.I'm probably going to be in the minority here, but I enjoyed Cubert's small part. I've always wondered what happened to him after his episode, and his snotty little arrogent ass is fun, for a few minutes, at least. The ending was sad, but it didn't affect me like "Parasites" or "Time Keeps on Slipping". I think it's because we only knew Seymour for like 20 min. before the sad ending. The aformentioned ones (and Leela's Homeworld) worked because we were already familiar with the characters, therefore we have more a connection with them. Don't get me wrong, I liked the ending, but it could be so much more. The Leela/Amy thing.  That's all I have to say about that. Actually, I want to go find that drooly smilie that Teral found for me..... I loved the Dolemite references. The Professor got some good lines ("Oh, sure, break the SMART guy's stuff" ), and it's good to see a full Fry ep. About a A- ------------------

I think Fry's dad is a great character. "No, he's trying to lure us into a Y2K trap. It's the government. There will be rivers exploding..." or someting like that. And now we know what the cryogenic lab was for. It was to FREEZE your problems away!
