Heheee! I kust saw it for the first time!
Even though it was encoded with static and the frames shuttered. I tought it was THE best episode I had ever seen.
Kinda sad though at the end.

I think that it was a cool episode but it seemed a bit short. I guess nobody agrees but I like the begiining of the honking (bender) and the part of the honking where they told K.I.T.T.'s windshieldwipers were evil. great stuff!!!

Hmmm, it was great, but I think "War is the h-word" was a little better.

You probally expect me to have some perverted reason for liking anything but in this case I liked it cos it was the funniest episode.
Parasites lost was very good too and had Leela in that pink thing(I got that recorded on tape so I can wank to it over and over again)
I can't wait for the Amazon women, if it ever gets showed.

I thought it was great. The end was depressing, but it did give Futurama some more depth, with is cool. Amazonian Women in the Mood is showing the first weekend in January -- or so we hope!

I dont expect too much from Fox. Anyway does somebody know why they're showing a rerun again? Or is it just to annoy the fans?

Yeah Parasites Lost is my favourite so far.
Eric's got quite a distinctive writing style, alot of depth.
The end was soooooo good, leaving us hanging until the next Fry/Leela storyline.

I don't want to many fry/leela in love type storys... I mean you know its there but I would prefer if the writers didn't jump the gun in getting them togther... There are still sooo many stories (or atleast one liners)that they can do with this whole tension

Parasites Lost has to be my favorite ep. involving Leela and Fry, but I hope they develop the romance slowly. Gives it more time to discover new things

Parasites Lost is also one of my favourites but not because of the Fry/Leela love story. Zoidberg was at his absolute best in this episode with all his great oneliners.

Yeah, I just saw it for the first time...It's really great. I like how they slowly build the fry/Leela thing, kinda like Mulder and Scully. The and was sad, but thats what makes it a memorable episode for me, god I love this show

Less than a page of reviews!

*resurrects thread*

This is one of my very favourite episodes, it's hard to pick a best episode from Season 3, but this is one of the shining points. It was wonderfully written, very funny, it had loads of great one-liners, and had plenty of great Professor Farnsworth lines which are always welcome, and it's superbly directed. The part where Leela used the pipe to shoot her mini clone into fry's coffee over the street, the beginning where we see the Planet Express ship going into the truck stop, the part where Hermes, Bender and Amy are all shrunken clones, but we don't realise until the camera zooms out and we see a huge Professor Farnsworth. All theses are just a few examples of how well the frames have been directed. There's also some really great action scenes, like the battle between Fry and the Parasite king, and all of the scenes where the Planet Express ship travelling through Fry's body were great.

It also had plenty of depth, a great storyline, with some cool twists, and a touching ending. In my opinion, one of the best episodes ever.

I didn't like parasites Lost, it just wasn't funny. So far in Season 3, onlt War Is The H Word has met Season 2's standard.

I really liked this episode - one of my favourites so far. I watched it again last night and now I have the music from the holophoner (sp?) in my head. That bit was so sweet

"Parasites Lost" ranks with "Luck of The Fryish" and "Leela's Homeworld" as the best "dramatic" episodes of Futurama. On top of that it's  actual really funny, and have some snazzy animation.

I particular like the Amazing Voyage-spoof, and Farnsworths "tiny atoms"-line.

Parasites lost is the only one so far out of all the S3 episodes to air that I really really can't wait to get on DVD. The others were c+. Good but not great, with the possible exception of "War is the H-Word" simply because of the hilarious Zapp/Kif/Fry chain of command. That made me laugh until I choked.

Parastites Lost is probably my favourite episode, I love the scene where Fry plays the holophone to Leela, and at the end when he is alone and tries to it play again and produces a childlike image of Leela, that was so sweet  :)

*DVD bump!!*

Couldn't find the original "thoughts on" thread. Weird.

Anyway, I'll come out and say it. I don't like shippiness!! Still, this episode was pretty good.

The Good:
Sal was funny (for once)
Good development of Fry's character
Some fairly good bits ("She does NOT look good for a truckstop girl!"  :laff: )
Leela's pink outfit

The Bad:
Some overly gross stuff in the "inside Fry's body" scenes
WAAAAAAY too many shippy scenes
The ending (Didn't really make me feel sad at all)

C+  Good episode, but kinda bland.

I'd like to say in behalf of the academy: screw you, leelaholic! "Parasites Lost" is one of the best episodes. As for your bad comments:
- I didn't really find the inside the body stuff gross. It could have been much much worse. And besides, our interiors are pretty gross, so it's realism!
- Too many shippy scenes? I ride the same train, but not for this ep. "The Sting," which I hate, is just one big shippy episode. This episode had a fine balance: a funny plot with the crew, and Fry and Leela's romance. The first one got more screen time. In fact, there weren't a lot of shippy scenes, really! There's the flowers (about 10-15 seconds long), the puddle (another 10-15 seconds long), the beatdown, which doesn't really count since Sal was there, the coffee shop (less than a minute), the apartment (maybe... 2 minutes), and that's it. The holophoner scene doesn't count, since that was one of the most beautiful things ever done in animation ever.
- The ending wasn't supposed to make you sad. I don't really know what it was supposed to do. But that's one of my favorite endings next to "Luck of the Fryrish" and "Cyber House Rules."

A Great episode, although I respect leelaholic's opinion although I feel it is completely wrong.

I would like to say on behalf of..... oh screw it. Parasites Lost was awesome, but so was The Sting. How could you hate an episode of Futurama anyways?

I give Parasites Lost an  A+  because of its creative display of human internal sciences, and then when Fry finally expresses his true feelings to Leela. It was one of the best

I give The Sting a  B+  for its creativity and that thing as seen in Freddy Krooger when someone falls into a dream, and they don't realize it. Although I became pretty impatient waiting to see what was wrong with her. It kinda stretched an idead a little too far.

Well I don't HATE "The Sting." I thought it was OK, but I dislike it more because everyone loves it so much and I just didn't think it was that great. But let's not turn this thread into a "Sting" argument.
And when I say I respect leelaholic's opinion, it means I'm not going to hound him on his own opinion.
