Problems with new setting?

I had to change some background stuff. If pages don't load, edits/deletes/answers dont seem to show up or you find something else strange (with showing the actual thread pages), do tell here.

One thing i can assure you won't work (sorry) is the following:
if you click on a page link and it shows up as something like .../Forum10/HTML/000012.html as the page link at the top of your IE/Netscape/whatever you will not be able to use that link for further reference. (It also means that your IE/Netscape/whatever is terribly old or flawed, get a new one and peel will load about 5 times as fast for you). to link to pages, use the link you used to get to that page which ends in /showpage.cgi?Forum=1&Thread=000023 or the like.

So I realize this thread is 7 years old, but I didn't know where else to post a question about the site. If there's somewhere else I should be posting, please redirect me.

I just cleared my cookies, and now my username and password aren't saved. I can't find the option that will save it for 12 months, like it said when I registered. Is it under the Profile options and I'm just not seeing it?

It's under "Preferences" (located at the top of each thread and the mainpage (as prefs)).

Yes, but before she wasn't, she was. From memory it was a one-line, generically-spammy sort of message in the early hours of the morning.

I'm guessing that whoever removed her post didn't fix the 'Last Post' name when the 'Last Post' date was re-set.

(c.f. the UBB codes thread in the The Wish Void forum. As I'm writing the 'Last Post' info is "05-10-2008 12:21 Magnetic_jane". She posted in there too but note that she only registered on 06-12-2008.)

I think this the appropriate place to post this. Can someone please fix the episode rater at the side of the homepage because it's been on Raging Bender since I joined (years ago). Can't you put a limit or something on it so it changes after a few hundred ratings or something. I'm so tired of seeing it. Thank you.
