The Norwegian equivalent of 36 Euro will be on its way to Germany tomorrow. Is the old address still in use? And for how long will Peelified be kept alive?

Yeah, the address is still valid and PEEL will be up ... as long as we have funding. As the main page says, we're down to 0 out of 176 for the period of December 2003 to June 2004. With that, 140 would be missing by December.

Anyway, I'm sending money. Whatever $25 Canadian is worth in Euros, (15 I think) that's what you're getting. I'm very poor as I'm saving money to go to England, so meh.

Money sent, but it will probably take about a week to get there or however long, as I wasn't going to pay $10 to see it get there in 2-3 business days.

The lady at the counter gave me a weird look when I told her I needed postage to get the letter to Germany. Sort of a piercing glare. What am I, a terrorist?

Yes, you are a terrorist. Only terrorists send international mail. And all terrorists want to send international mail. And all terrorists want to attack Canada. You should have paid CAD1.25 (USD0.89). When I brought my letter to be sent to Germany, I said, "I need to send this." The person slammed on the computer, and the word GERMANY appeared in large letters on the screen, then $0.80 appeared. I think I confused the stupid postal agent because I wrote "GERMANY/DEUTSCHLAND" on the envelope.

EDIT: The only bank that does currency exchanges here requires you to have an account there (which I don't). Even if you're going to pay them in cold, hard cash.

They're not anymore, some sort agreement was reached, but they were. It wouldn't make a difference, people use FedEx or UPS for the important stuff.

My letter came back today without a stamp on, so I guess it must have fallen off. Lucky I had written a return address on the back of the envelope, or those dineros would be lost.

I'll buy a new stamp (with glue) the next time I'm at the post office and I'll send it again.

He said in the opening post that he required cash. After reading that site that tested the mail, I felt pretty good about sending cash.

I just re-read the post. If you dismantle PEEL before the next payment, can my money go towards buying edel undergarments?

How am I expectant? I just decided to let people know what it costs and when it costs it. The idea is having informed users.
I certainly don't expect people to send money and much less people who can't afford it. If some can help out, that's nice, if not, I have to see how to continue this. I didn't come up with the idea of having things cost money, but I can't escape it either.
