get rollover and map images for a cool design
Number 1: Use of JavaScript rollovers and imagemaps != design.
Number 2: JavaScript image rollovers are soooo 1997. Right up there with statusbar scrollies.
f_r: Use CSS to lay out your page. It's child's play to make a site look pretty using CSS, and no horrid messing around with tables to layout your page.
That, and you have wayyy too many forums, and I have a certain dislike for the forum software ProBoards use. Just goto the older threads where I was more of a web-standards-zealot, and see.
You also use bitmaps for your images. Turn them into PNG, and if you need a free (good) image editor, use
The GIMP. You'll probably want the 2.0 series, as they have spiffy GTK2-ness. Which looks much better than Gimp 1.2, which uses GTK1.
And chucks is right, you need a better site to be able to support a messageboard. If anything now, the peak of Futurama fans was reached 2 or 3 years ago, so you shouldn't really make new boards.
