You think an Archive would be the ultimate of all ultimates and one of a show/cartoon would never die, but it's over for Futurama and that's sad. I barely remember NNYC.com and I wish I knew more about it.  :( But, with shows like the Simpsons, they are archives that have been online practically a decade, are always #1 (besides illegal content, of course...) and are always there.

I'm not dead, the site just piled up into 1000 different technical problems, the domain is now on some german's whois database, how the hell it got transfered from network solutions is beyond me, and then I've got a lot of college shit, band practice, and a bunch of other stuff that occupy my time...

Peace

If that German registrar is Key-Systems GmbH, that's just Joker.com.

Those were the good old days, too bad it's history now. Every once in a while I'll think bout starting my own site again, but then I realize how little interest I have in the show now.

One thing that no doubt killed Futurama are the crappy timeslots FOX gives it, and the late premiere date (december?? come on fox, you can do better than that). With school, work and my social life (heh, yeah right) I barely even have time to watch tv.

I've been in the Simpsons community since about '95-'96 and the Futurama community since before the show premiered, but I think it's about time I make my grand exit. All my faith in the show went down with TSAF, and it briefly reappeared for TFA... but now I think it's totally gone. So, unless I have a sudden change of heart, this is probably goodbye. Later guys (and girls).

Look at it this way, Futurama is more of a cult which is only recognised as a revelutionry brilliant program by the true fans. Many people like The Simpsons & I'm sure everyone here does too which means it's kind of good that we have Futurama with a more underground following. The fact that it's treated badly makes us, the loyal fans apreciate it more & in a strange way I feel as if were special for recognising Futurama for what it is & it feels good that we get to see such a brilliant program that the ignorant miss out on.
