What if I named my Futurama site, THEN had a search in Planet Roadmap, discovering that the site name was taken by an ancient fan site? Could I keep the name, or would that be un just? I'll go on volume of opinions

I'd say it partly depends on the ancient page you mean ... If it's something like the Futurama Chronicles or Fry Files, better don't. If it is Hanni Nanni's Bender Page .. I'd think Hanni Nanni is ok with it.
But generally, I'd go for a fresh name if I'd have to choose.

just one thing there,my futurama site the futurama factory.Its initials are TFF which is the same as the fry files.Ive only noticed this yesterday.the problem is buttons usually have initials.
