The pop-ups can get really annoying too, is there anything you can do about that? I doubt you can, but you never know.

I don't get a single pop-up ad.  If you do, you might have spyware on your computer.
Spyboy Search and Destroy v1.3 does a very good job in deleting those.

On topic: In the section with the four seasons, there is every episode available for discussion.  Maybe you can condense that (just a suggestion).

The problem I think you'll have is that it will probably be difficult to get it to really kick off for two reasons:

1. PEEL.
2. Futurama has been cancelled.

Number 2 matters much less to number 1 because number 1 already has a massive community.

Just my opinion. The board is very good though!

Added to The Links Zone

A few bits of advice:

1) Look into the color scheme ASAP. Dark blue links on black background, extremly hard to read. While I see what you're trying to do with the green color (military colors, etc), the flourescent glow on a black background is very hard on the eyes. Military camouflage patterns use much more subtle green, but then you run into the same problem as the dark blue in the links.

2) You need a big site to back the message board, otherwise it'll die (sad but true). A message board can't survive the initial stage without a big, popular site to bring in members. In the begining PEEL had CGEF, the Futurama Foundation had the Simpsons Collector Sector, etc.

Teral, I'd add the Rough Draft Studios Test Site to the Links:
 http://www.calleros.com/Pages/rds/RDmain.html

It may not be 100% Futurama related, but where most sites are very similar, their message board does offer an entirely different view of Futurama coming from the directors and animators who actually worked on it. (And some of them will answer fan's questions.) Most of it is pretty silly, but I like going there when I need a laugh.

I would also like to add this. The largest of thse gifs is 16.4kb, please save them to your webhost and please do not hotlink. 16.4kb isn't much, but the site is hosted for free by the kind people of The Alltoons Cartoon Network and with several thousand links of these images it can cost a lot of money. Thank you for complying!

It's just looking at my site stats i've had 588 hits on that image due to your site and 4 clicks. 9.4MB of traffic. Ok, not great, but seeing as i'm hosted for free by alltoons and it's someone else's money that they don't get back by ads or anything, it's only right. Anyway, thanks.

I tried turning on hotlink protection, but it just buggered up the images on the site even though i set it up properly, stupid thing!

We're advertised by you, The Fry Hole, The Futurama Point, Planet Eternium (if Zeep would ever sign on), and soon others.

I think Teral was talking about the fact that PEEL is a part of and is run by CGEF, PEEL is sorta CGEF. However, you're just a message board that has sites link to you, there is a difference.
