Yes, if anyone has got our Teral, can they please hand it back. No reward or anything, but our eternal appreciation would be forever yours. So, please check under your sofas, in your lofts, behind that box at the bottom of that forgotten cupboard for our long lost Teral. Oh, BTW, can we have our Kenneth back, too.

JBERGES: you can send it to Tim (tim@futurama-madhouse.com.ar), because currently he's on fire when it comes to putting up updates on the site.

Gort:  OK, will do; though part of me is thinking of bothering Teral anyways.  Totally worth the wait.

Hmm, yeah, I have been pretty absent in the Futurama  cyberspace (which essentially boils down to FM:TLZ, PEEL, TFP and CGEF nowadays) the past 6 months compared to earlier. Various things have put a larger demand on my RL time than previous, though if everything goes as planned I'm shedding some of my tasks in the local sports union tomorrow night. That should give me more free time, but with a major DUI renovation (new roof, new windows, overhaul of 3 out of 5 rooms) of my house planned this spring, even that might be squandered (think Tim Taylor in Home Improvement   :D ).

It's been a long time; do you still want fanfic submissions sent to you or should I send my last one to someone less jaded?   :p

You are my favorite published fanficwriter (must be the low ship-quotient of your stories   ;) ), so naturally if you send me stuff (teral at nrdc dot dk), I'll get them up as quickly as I find time for it. That goes for anyone else too, ofcourse.   :p  Though as Graham mentioned, Tim is lightening fast with updates, he'll have them up faster than you can say "submit" (which is pretty damn quick to say). Must be his youthful energy and zeal, not yet tampered by the cruel realities of webmastering. Will he eventually become just as jaded as the rest of us? Only time will tell.

Oh, and I wasn't hiding in the cupboard, turns out it's much cosier under the bearskin rug, plus it's closer to the tv. No clue where Kenneth is, the bread crumb trail stopped 40 m down the road. Leela's rat Nibbler probably ate them.

Incidentally, for those interested, we have a new section up at the site: Ask Dr. Zoidberg. Simply email your questions to the good doctor and he'll answer them at the site whenever he can.   :)

Is this "new" as in "absorbed the old Ask Dr. Zoidberg"? Nothing compares to the disaster preparedness handbook!

Wow... I didn't actually know such an idea already existed. A case of "coming up" with the same idea independently (In this case case, I stole it from Ren & Stimpy's "Ask Dr. Stupid" after rereading a couple of the old R&S comics and reaquainting myself with the concept)

I'm aware of the issue. I've emailed Gort about it too, so it should hopefully be fixed soon. Incidentally, the site works fine on Opera. IE seems to be the browser with issues from what I've seen. Not sure about other browsers. Not sure where the fault lies, but I have a feeling it was mine personally. Sorry guys...  :(

Try now and let me know how that goes. *Someone* apparently screwed the site by using Dreamweaver instead of Notepad to edit a page.

I always find some website down for a few minutes (like some other day with CGEF and PEEL). Since I haven't seen FM:TLZ offline in a long time I thought it was weird.

Well, I'm gonna stop writing right now.

Okay PEELers - time to put your money where your mouth is.

Futurama Madhouse/The Leela Zone almost died 3 years ago due to financial difficulties.  People like myself, Marcus and others donated mon ey via PayPal to help Leandro out and keep the site running.

Tim has posted that the funds lasted until now and FM/TLZ needs our help to stay afloat.  If you have any extra cash laying around just begging to used for a good cause, take a trip to TLZ and click on the PayPal button.

I will be donating in the morning.  Even if it's only 5 bucks, it can keep the oldest Futurama site alive for another year.

[Sally Strutters]Please donate so that bad Fry and Leela fics will have a home.[/Sally Strutters]

edit:  I've donated.  Now it's time for the rest of you cheap bastards Futurama fans to ante up and help this just cause.

B*U*M*P

Futurama Madhouse is safe for another year.  this is a note from Leandro sent to the people who donated - he told me in another e-mail that more people coughed up cash than he thought would.

There was a backup plan - Kelly and I offered to finance the entire site for the next year if needed.  Leandro could have taken the easy way out and let that happen but that's not Leandro's style.

So to the PEELers and other Futurama freaks who sent funds to Leandro and company, your donations are helping the oldest living Futuama Site live another year.

I've had a drink for lesser reasons.

-----

Hello there!

I'm sending this message to everybody who generously donated to the site during the last week. I honestly wasn't expecting to have this
amazing response; I thought nobody would care for the site enough to help pay for its server, and I thank you all for proving me wrong.

Thanks to you, the Madhouse's hosting is paid in full for the entire year, and I'm confident that what Adsense/Amazon brings during the year will be enough to cover for another one, so all our server issues should be over until 2010. Maybe Futurama will be back to producing regular seasons by then!

I'll be making an announcement about this on the site once I talk to Tim and Graham about it, but for now, I just wanted to email you personally to say thank you. A *big* THANK YOU.

Sincerely,
Leandro Pardini

I'm just dropping a line here because I was goofing around Google Analytics and I wanted to share that since January 1st of this year, PEEL sent 4,656 visitors our way, who viewed on average 5.57 pages each, and stayed on each page 5 minutes on average. That is pretty impressive considering all the links come from user posts, since there's no "real" link to our site from here. Thanks, everyone!

Does anybody know how I could contact one of the administrators of the Leela Zone forums? I've tried every way possible to find a solution to my problem, there is not a single email address I could find to contact somebody to help me with my problem, and I don't want to contact the admins of the main site since they seem to be totally unrealated to the joint forums.

Er, Frida, we manage the forums too. I don't actively moderate, but I believe Tim does. If it's a tech problem, I can probably help. Drop me a line at my email address (displayed in the site).

For anyone with artistic aspirations, we're opening an Oekaki Board on the site. I still need to tweak a few things before announcing it on the site, but feel free to start doodling now!

Hi everyone, I'm so sorry for the out-of-nowhere post and the bumping of an inactive thread, but is anyone else having trouble accessing TLZ/Futurama Madhouse at the moment?

I'm back in the Futurama fandom for the first time in way too long and was enjoying some the site'a enormous collection of fanfics when suddenly it just stopped working.

Anyone know what's going on? I hope the site hasn't disappeared - it was such a fantastic resource and so much work has gone into it over the years!
