But I really need to find good and affordable hosting, I do not mind paying a couple of bucks a month for it, if it delivers me suitable hosting, if anyone got an idea for it, please tell me. Also sponsering from companies is needed too to keep the money flowing to actually pay for the hosting  :)

finding a host for CGEF is harder than it might sound though. CGEF moved some serious GigaBytes a month back in it's days.

One of the best and most popular Simpsons sites is hosted at http://www.aplushosting.com/.   Evergreen Terrace (http://nohomers.net)

But after I looked at the site... I dunno if it can handle it or you can.

450MB is the equivalent of 100 Planet Roadmaps. Are you saying I am 100 times less that nothing? Hehe.

They charge monthly and are quality, so you better be professional to choose A+.

but the problem is that they only give 450 mb, and that's not enough...

Hmm, I heard (didn't check them, meh) that they give pretty much unlimited-everything and they're just sexy in general, hence they charge you. And when you're charged, you have the official right to complain 100% all-the-time, with reason that you want full customer-satisfaction.  ;)

I don't mind being charged, I just want unlimited space and bandwidth

Bandwidth is very well-considered with them, but space is definitely unlimited.

Well, either way, if you're willing to pay for very big quality hosting, they're sexy. But, with no pay, there are other resources;)

I might be able to get you something on a 100Mbit site - same server as www.planetexpress.dk  is situated at. It's free, but requires ABSOLUTELY NO banners or anything else commercial that you can make profit off. If you are interested, mail me.

I need hosting that can manage 70GB (at most) traffic, the unlimited crap is too vague. Cause I've seen many unlimited bandwidth sites back off when they saw our stats.  :)

Do you need a sub-domain of a site or are you still going to use a domain like morefuturama.com?

slim will use his morefuturama.com address which was only assigned to peel as
a) there was no other use for it right now
b) peel is a CGEF leftover
c) people can ask what happened to cgef here

Basically, CGEF (Can't Get Enough Futurama) was the best all-around Futurama site on the web, and it had everything you could possibly need.

Hi!

You could get a Server with 20,4GB Space
and 85GB Traffic at www.keyweb.de   ;)
Costs: 780DM/Month *calculating* 390$/Month

You should get a good job to finance that  ;)

Or go for the Hypa.net Extreme:
2500 MB Disk space, 100 GB Data Transfer.
$245.00

If you can do with less Disk space, I recommend Kikko.com's eAdvanced package: 1000MB Disk space, 300 GB Data Transfer; all for the modest price of $79.95 a month.
At Hostsearch.com, they are rated 9/10 by their own customers, so I guess they are somewhat reliable. But, technically, they are a New Jersey-based company.  :p

Hell, you wouldn't need to pay anything if you gave them stats of the old CGEF and put a link up to them... I know I'd love my ad to get viewed by 5000 (?) people every day...

one problem with that: the stats got wiped out with the page... and ads don't pay that well anymore, but there should be a solution
