I may be new but that won't stop me from completly dissagreeing with Margarita. If fry'06 wants to make a website good on 'im, in fact i'd even like to be on the website team (You listenting?   ;) .)IMO, the more Futurama sites the better, if it's a total flop, well big deal, i'm sure you'll learn a few things and have a bit of fun while it lasted, i mean, it's not as though it's hurting anyone is it?

In closing, "i find the most erotic part of the woman to be the boobies"

EDIT: Fixed spelling error

Basically, my site's idea structure is almost done, and I made a template for the site in Fireworks and I'm importing it into Dreamweaver.

Say goodbye to my old Flash site.
But this site will make complete use of Studio MX and HTML.

And I need a few more staff members and update people, since I will not always be updating.

See? I do have the *skillz, homie!*
(I was being sarcastic there.)

Can i make one request? Please learn HTML and don't create the site using programs such as Dreamweaver. Learning the language will make it easier in the long-run and it's more rewarding knowing you wrote that.

I know HTML. I'm just too lazy to go type in the code myself.

I partially disagree with aslate. Yes knowing basic HTML is a must, but Dreamweaver is a pretty good program and if my only reward from not using it is saying "I wrote every single code myself, rather than pressing a botton", I really don't see the advantage. I mean just because you use Dreamweaver doesn't mean you can't tweek the code manually afterwards, and as a visitor my only interest is how good the site and it's content looks. I don't care if you wrote it with 0's and 1's or used Dreamweaver or (God help us) Frontpage.

Plus Dreamweaver have a feature that allow you to write every single code manually, while watching the final result with the push of a botton. Pretty handy.

::gives thumbs up to David A, Kryten and Nix::

Really people, don't flame this topic just because you don't like it, ignore it. Nobody is impressed by your negativity.

There's nothing wrong with using programs such as Dreamweaver, per se. It all depends on how you use them.

Personally, I use Visual Studio for all my programming needs. I still write every single line of code manually, but the built-in text editor is much neater than, say, Notepad which has caused med much grief in the past.

My reason for coding HTML manually is that it provides a much better control over your document and I find it to be much faster than pressing buttons and tweaking machine generated code anyway. But then again, I also make all my webpages XHTML 1.1 compliant just for the fun of it.  ;)

Woohoo! I finally got to start working on the Flash menu! I'm still drawing the buttons, but it blends in seamlessly with the rest of the site. Well, I have to get back to work for a while.

Sorry for the double post, but I have to scrap two things.

-3D games
-FS skins

Anyways, I haven't heard from any "willing to be staff" people thingies. Just ask me.

Thing is, I lost gmax and the 3D game program during my Win98 reinstall, and I'm not going back to Discreet's site to reinstall gmax.

But in place of those scrapped items, there will be Fanart/Scanart and fangames.....and later a small, humble forum. I just need...badly....fanartists and scanartists to supply their work for Fanart/Scanart.

Then I'll review the Futurama game.

Then I'll play a mean April Fools trick on everyone next year.

After that, I'll build a race of atomic super-humans.............

Forum = PEEL
Scan and fan -art = FSAC and TLZ.

Your site seems highly unnecessary.

The forum won't try to rival PEEL.....

Plus, my Fanart/Scanart area is for up and coming Fanart/Scanart makers and if anybody who's not up and coming sends fanart, I'll post that too...

I'm not really into fanart anyways.  Some of it is ok... but if it isn't excellent than I really don't want to see it more than once.

Your site sounds quite pointless as Xmpel said.  If you wanna do a site, make something and post that like a project.  Let's say a mod for the old game Doom... you could make Futurama Doom and I'm sure at least some people would love you.
