Fry2006, it is probably best that you don't continue with this site in my opinion as it will most likely only disappoint you later with low traffic and an air of pointlessness about it. Given that Futurama is no longer in production, and there are already some fantastic Futurama fansites out there, there isn't really room for another one in the internet market. Even some of the larger, well established sites are suffering from the cancellation of the show. Not PEEL though, this baby just grows and grows!

However Marge you don't have to be a know-all ranting moron about it. If someone wants to set up a website about Futurama, seriously, why shouldn't they? It is their time, their webspace and their bandwidth that's being used, what's the problem? Make a suggestion, but don't flame someone just because they are thinking of making a new site.

*giggles softly* I lied. Anyways, I have to start all over because a virus wiped out my copy of Windows XP. And this time, can I have some advice on how to make my site good, not that rushed shit that I did? (Be warned, this site creation process will take as long as Duke Nukem Forever..)

it doesn't take ages to make a site, just open a program and DO IT. that's it. if you don't know something, google it up or buy a book. <-- here's a positive advice for you.
photoshop & front page is quite easy to learn too.

the advice I always give people ready to start a new futurama site is : dont.  CGEF is the best and no one will ever beat it, and the futurama community doesnt have many skilled members anyway

Don't.

It's not worth it, seriously.  You'll just waste time.

I hate to sound like part of that "white noise", but my prediction is that you won't have the site done.  You're planning a site about a dead sci-fi cartoon.  You're planning for disaster.  If you want to do it anyway to show us up; fine.  But, if you never get it done, don't be suprised if we say "We told you so."
