I posted this in the Fan Art/Fiction section but it appears to have got deleted for reasons unknown (btw, whoever deleted it, a reason would be nice?) but I assumed it was because it really should be here:

Hey all.
Some of you may be familiar with the site called The Simpsons Fanworks Central, a showcase for Simpsons fanfics and fanart?

Well, it has recently become the Groening Fanworks Central ( http://www.simpworks.com/  ) and now houses Futurama fanart and fanfics too. It seriously is a great way to get opinions on your written or artistic work, as you simply post your fics or art to the board there and then others post their opinions and it also gets housed at the site.

The problem is though, there are very few Futurama works there, and it really needs some more. It seriously is a great way to get your work viewed and reviewed, and the people there are really nice. There's even annual awards.

Despite this seeming like an advertisement, I don't actually WORK for the site. I do still highly recommend it though, but it really needs some more Futurama traffic there now that it has broadened its horizons. It's another great way of getting your work spread around the web and getting some feedback, so please, check it out and submit some stuff.

Thank You
Xmpel

Or you could just visit and submit all of your material to the "Futurama Scanart Central"

The difference is that Groening Fanworks Central is a website/forum where you can ask other fanfic writers and fanartists to criteque and give opinions on your work.

Plus it makes your work available to the (regretably much larger) online Simpsons community, ie. more people will see your work and give feedback. While Futurama sites such as FSAC, TLZ, CGEF, TFP, etc. are great outlets to display your work, it doesn't hurt to reach a wider audience.

And finally, a Simpsons website decided that Futurama is cool enough to be included, why not give them some content?

No, I don't work for GFC either.  ;)

Well I do.  In fact I own it, pretty much, and yes I know I'm bumping up an incredibly old topic but I think that's better than making a brand new one just to say I've had a redesign.

So...

I've had a redesign.  Personally, I think it looks quite nofty.  But that's me.  :)
