Counter

I think CGEF needs a counter, if there is one, I can't find it. I love looking at how many hits sites have, even though the counter would start at 0, who cares? Just a suggestion.

If you go to the bottom of the page you will see a little black box. Click on it and it will tell you how mnay hits they gat a day

Correct! We don't have a counter because counters are not very accurate. We'd rather know how many UNIQUE visits we get each day than regular hits (any time someone reloads or comes back to the main page, the counter goes up 1). That's why we use a tracker instead. The only thing the tracker isn't very accurate with is regular hits. I recently checked the private stats for CGEF, and the site gets about 20,000 regular hits per day. And over one million regular hits total since March 1st!!

see i prefer a counter, coz it doesn't show unique hits, just overall hits. it makes my site look more popular

Counters www.thecounter.com  have the option of unique hits counter. Have you tried that?

I think he means 20,000 unique hits a day...
