LiC - ON HIATUS

Well in case you ain't noticed LiC is dead, 

its-explosive.net could no longer afford to continue their free hosting service and had to pull the plug. 

Still all due respect to them, they allowed a full back of the site to be made before deleting it, so all the content is safe. 

As soon as I get some free time after finishing my college I'll will be offically taking over from Nova as Chief Webby and will get on with the task of finding a new host (If any one knows of a good free host please drop me a line  )

Also if you happened to be a webmaster at LiC In the past expect to get an email from Myself sometime soon to ask if your still interested in maintaining the site (once I resurrect it)

had i broadband i wouldnt hesitate to host it on one of my own comps but alas, fate is cheap to me 
As it stands now, a 56k modem is not _really_ my idea of fun when yer gonna run a website (even if yer not hosting it personally)

It's a shame that the site died, I could see it happening though, with it's lack of updates. It's good that all is not lost, hope you manage to get it back up in the future, AstroZombie

Best of luck, AZ - I've promised Paul some fanfic for FSAC and I need to read a lot of it to be able to write a half-decent one, so LiC would've been an important resource. I'll let you know if I hear of anything, and continuing luck

True but I'm still loking for people to help me run the site WHEN (NOT IF) I get it up n running again.

Holly, send your FSAC fanfics to me since I'm the webby that deals with them, I cant say when I'll get them posted due to my current college work load but will get them up sooner rather than later.

I feel really really awful. From AZ's explanation, it's nobody's fault LiC is dead. This was the site that inspired me to start writing fanfics. I got to know the original webmaster, Dave. What a nice guy  Anyway, when he left I vowed to help out. Computer problems soon plauged me however and left me unable to work on the site.

Now I have another problem, I've finished high school (yesterday in fact) and will start college in the fall. I don't yet know how it will affect my ability to update the site, but my best guess is that it will be time-consuming.

In truth, LiC was dead long before the account closed. Nova couldn't devote more time to it. I had computer problems as well as problems operating the FTP. The others either had their own sites (like Paul) or didn't seem to care.

P.S. I'm also aware that it may be some time before LiC is resurrected. I'm just letting you know my opinion and the position I'm in.
