I gave up on Yahoo many years ago. They got very lazy in adding good sites and take months to remove dead links.

Yahoo is slow, google is best, no one (from a webmaster view) really cares about yahoo anymore since they dont bring as many visitors. So, who cares. Google has a directory too (dmoz), I handle the Futurama part there and usually it takes a week or two at the most to get listed or rejected there.
